There’s a lot of talk about the lack of star power at the top of the WWE roster. For every name like a Roman Reigns or Sasha Banks, there are more individuals that consistently get lost in the shuffle due to WWE’s lackadaisical booking. There’s one group that could step into the main roster and immediately be a main event act. That crew is Legado del Fantasma. After two years together in WWE NXT, it’s time to bring them to the main roster for a bigger spotlight.

Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, and Elektra Lopez are the perfect foursome to infuse something new into the main roster. Outside of The Bloodline, factions on the main roster aren’t working.

Judgement Day hasn’t started off well. Even though it is an intriguing cast of individuals, the collection of the three isn’t working for issues that plague WWE. Fight Night, or whatever the WWE is calling Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland, could work – but they’ve been feuding with The New Day, another team going through struggles, and that doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon.

This is where LDF would fit best. Escobar is the consummate frontman who checks every box in what WWE needs in a new superstar. His presentation screams main event, his abilities on the microphone can hang with anyone in front of him, and he can perform from bell to bell.

Plus, he’s surrounded by a tag team in Del Toro and Wilde that are two of the best WWE has in their entire division, regardless of brand. Pit them in tag matches against Alpha Academy, Street Profits, Team RK-Bro, and others – there’s action to witness there. And Elektra Lopez, she’s a perfect fit for a women’s division that needs new faces. Everything about Legado del Fantasma screams main event and that should happen now.

Next. WWE needs to avoid an absent champion situation. dark

The back-and-forth about Roman Reigns potentially “doing less” after years of carrying the main event scene should have WWE fans paying attention. Whether the lessening of that volume comes to fruition or not, it’s important for the company to begin to position some new individuals at the top. Legado del Fantasma fills that void at every level. And even better, imagine the group eventually facing off with The Bloodline – that’s a main-event level feud that the company needs in their back pocket right now.
