Hell in a Cell is an important stipulation match in WWE. Several iconic moments occurred in the steel structure, including when the Undertaker launched Mick Foley off the top, crashing onto the table below. What was once just a match is now another event in the series of stipulation-based PPVs in WWE’s catalog of content. Another edition of the PPV is set to come around and it’s time to look forward to what will happen at Hell in a Cell 2022.

Hell in a Cell will take place on Sunday, June 5. This year’s event will hail from Rosemont, Illinois in the Allstate Arena, a venue that can seat nearly 20,000. There are multiple storylines that are expected to come to an end at this showcase, including the angle that has pit Cody Rhodes against Seth Rollins since their match back at WrestleMania 38. Fans can expect to see the top booked stars of WWE SmackDown and WWE Monday Night Raw.

Hell in a Cell 2022 saw Bobby Lashley defeat Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship and Bianca Belair defeat Bayley for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship, both of which occurred in the cell.

According to WrestleTix, as of May 16, the planned capacity for the event will be 12,367, of which, 10,895 tickets are currently listed as sold, with 1,472 tickets still available.

  • Bianca Belair versus Asuka versus Becky Lynch in a triple threat match for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship
  • Bobby Lashley versus Omos and MVP in a 2-on-1 handicap match
  • Ezekiel versus Kevin Owens in a singles match
  • Austin Theory versus Mustafa Ali in a singles match for the WWE United States Championship
  • Finn Balor, AJ Styles, Liv Morgan versus Edge, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley in a six-person tag match
  • Madcap Moss versus Happy Corbin in a no holds barred match

Hell in a Cell will be available for streaming via the Peacock service in the United States and the WWE Network in international markets.
