WWE: Ciampa should be the next member of Judgement Day

Ever since Edge turned heel by attacking AJ Styles during the build-up to their WrestleMania match, I thought the match didn’t need someone to be a heel because both competitors are enough to sell the match. I thought WWE did not need to make this dream match into a feud.

But I was wrong because Edge changed everything about the Rated R Superstar character and reinvented himself. Along with the change, he created a new group called Judgement Day. The group, for now, consists of Edge, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley.

Judgement Day could add more wrestlers to their group since Edge was teasing new recruitments on social media and on Raw. Like I said before Edge teased a bunch of names to be in his group but the one guy that should be on Judgement Day is Tommaso Ciampa.

Why should WWE add Ciampa to Judgement day?

Tommaso Ciampa was one of the names that Edge teased. He was also one of the names that were rumored to be in Judgement Day when the group was created. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were also on the rumored list and they are now in the group. So, the chances of Ciampa joining Judgement Day are high.

Many fans including myself thought that Ciampa won’t have the same success as when he was at NXT. He was the face of the NXT brand. Ciampa won the NXT championship twice. He was also a former NXT tag team champion with Johnny Gargano.

I also thought that Ciampa would be in NXT forever. Ciampa has a history of injuries and his loyalty to the black and yellow brand was the reason that could prevent him to be on Raw or Smackdown. But since WWE rebranded NXT and since he does not fit in NXT 2.0, this was the perfect time for him to get called up to the main roster.

Ciampa was called up to the main roster a week after WrestleMania. Even though he has appeared on Raw a couple of times this year, Ciampa became a full-time member of the Raw roster on the April 11 episode.

However, he has not appeared on Monday Night Raw since May. 9 where he beat Mustafa Ali. If he joins Judgement Day, that could help his status on the main roster. Ciampa will be a part of the feud that Judgement Day is in right now with the team of AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and Liv Morgan.

The dynamic of adding Ciampa to the group will also benefit Edge. Edge would get to wrestle less. That will make his time in the ring feel special. And they can still do a tag team match, a mix tag team match, or a six-person tag team match without having Edge involved by adding Ciampa to Judgement Day.

Judgement Day is a team that is being focused on WWE TV for the past few weeks. This group gave Rhea Ripley and Damien Priest tv. And Edge has hinted that there could be more members for this group in the near future. That person should be Tommaso Ciampa.
