WWE MITB 2022 is in two weeks, and the WWE even moved this “premium live event” into a smaller Las Vegas Venue to assure that their tickets sell out. Furthermore, the WWE is still undecided on their top plans for this “premium live event” even though WWE MITB 2022 is supposed to be one of the biggest events on the WWE calendar. The following will make a case for why Liv Morgan desperately needs to win MITB this year.

WWE MITB 2022 is scheduled to take place on July 2, 2022, live on WWE Network via Peacock. Here is why Liv Morgan needs to win MITB this year.

On WWE Raw, Liv Morgan qualified for the MITB Ladder Match in a tag team match with Alexa Bliss against Doudrop and Nikki ASH. Morgan had made an indelible mark in the main event scene of the Raw Women’s Division this past year, especially during her Raw Women’s Title program with Becky Lynch. She was also a key part of the Judgment Day feud. Since Morgan is relevant in almost all moving parts of the show, an opportunity should be in store for her at some point.

Although the MITB Ladder Match should be used to establish a new star, the WWE has a proclivity of remaining with the status quo. Henceforth, it is more likely that Becky Lynch will win the MITB Ladder Match because she will use MITB to either cash in on Bianca Belair or on Ronda Rousey. Liv Morgan has not been built well enough to dethrone either Belair or Rousey, so it would not immediately make sense to book her as MITB winner.

However, the whole point of the MITB Briefcase is to rebuild a rising star who would not earn a title match in another way. Liv Morgan is the ideal star to rebuild on her road to stardom. She has the charisma and never-say-die attitude of a natural babyface who connects quite well with the WWE Universe. Morgan should have won MITB last year after her emotional and inspirational speech, which conveyed how her hard work, not luck, will pay off in the end.

The fans have been clamoring for Morgan to win something huge. It is long overdue for Morgan to become champion and add something fresh to the depleted women’s division that is exceedingly reliant on the horsewomen. Since she lacks the momentum to earn another singles title shot, the MITB Briefcase would provide her with that opportunity. Nonetheless, if she does not win MITB, it seems that a consolation prize in the form of a tag title win with Alexa Bliss is in store for her.
