The returns keep hitting on WWE and things continued SmackDown as Hit Row walked through the curtain Friday evening. B-Fab, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, and Top Dolla were welcomed back with open arms both in the arena and throughout social media. This trio is the latest group to come back to WWE with Triple H in charge and now is the perfect opportunity for them to have a significant impact when needed the most.

The SmackDown tag team division is quietly retooling, adding the depth that is needed to justify two titles across both brands. Dolla and Adonis immediately factor into those plans, which is what many were expecting before their sudden release in late 2021. Both men have shown the ability to perform in the ring, and Dolla is exceptional on the microphone. It should be a fun ride to watch them move up the ladder and a title run should be in their future.

B-Fab is also important because helps with the lack of Black women on the main roster. With Sasha Banks and Naomi still away from WWE, Bianca Belair was the only Black woman on the main roster – a glaring hole that was frequently pointed out by a large and vocal portion of wrestling fans. B-Fab may not factor in as a ring performer immediately, as she’s only had ten matches in her career according to Cagematch. But she can be someone that eventually steps in-between the ropes and her presence is a welcome addition to the trio on its own.

Of course, there’s the elephant in the room of Swerve now being a part of All Elite Wrestling. Some tried to use his absence to either discredit Hit Row or throw meaningless shots at AEW. Both narratives are pointless, and fans should be glad to see this act back on television. Their release in 2021 was rightfully met with raised eyebrows and disdain, so getting them back on television at a time when WWE is making a concerted effort to improve content is a continued step in the right direction.

Next. Montez Ford should be the man to take the US title from Bobby Lashley. dark

SmackDown’s tag team and women’s division got some needed depth with the return of Hit Row. The move caught the eye of fans that are looking for reasons to buy back into the WWE product and this certainly grabbed their attention.
