WWE: Liv Morgan proved she is no ordinary underdog, even as champion

Liv Morgan recently proved she is a very special underdog in WWE.

When Liv Morgan went toe to toe with the Queen of Spades Shayna Baszler, she proved why she is in fact no ordinary underdog in WWE. At first, it looked like it would be a cliche underdog title run, but Liv clearly had something else in mind.

During her match against Shayna, she was pulling tricks that aren’t typical in her wrestling arsenal which included a newfound grasp on submission wrestling. It was a big move since she went against a superstar notoriously known for her submission wrestling, this boldness has proven she is breaking the mold of what it means to be an underdog.

Can Liv Morgan overcome Ronda Rousey a second time?

With Ronda Rousey once again the top challenger and defying every authority figure that comes in her path, Liv will need something very special to survive against a Ronda Rousey who is showing no signs of going away anytime soon.

The attitude of Ronda going deep into her roots as a truly unpredictable superstar with unphased confidence as she walks into the arena as she owns it. At some point, that kind of presence will lead to their paths crossing again.

It could be the ultimate storm since Liv realizes that she is capable of just about anything as a wrestler against a woman who already knows what she is capable of in the ring. When that time comes again it will be very interesting especially since she just came off a victory against Baszler.

If Morgan is able to defeat Rousey again, the door opens for a number of interesting feuds in the future. Charlotte Flair is a name that immediately comes to mind, as she and Morgan shared a moment years ago that kicked off the notion that she was going to surpass the expectations that were originally placed on her.

As Liv continues this journey on Smackdown, she will surely have an answer for a wide range of challenges displaying her versatility as a WWE superstar. There are a lot of moving parts on Smackdown and Liv will need every tool she has learned to overcome it.
