WWE Extreme Rules 2022 Predictions: Edge Will Make Finn Balor Quit
By Mark Justice
WWE Extreme Rules 2022 is only five days away, and the WWE has already made six matches official for this “premium live event”. Every single match has a special stipulation, which truly makes the gimmick of this PPV feel special. Also, there is anticipation for the White Rabbit to be revealed at this PPV. The following will provide the official match card predictions for what should be the most extreme PPV of the year: WWE Extreme Rules 2022.
WWE Extreme Rules 2022 is scheduled to take place on October 8, 2022, live on Peacock. Here are the official match card predictions.
Brawling Brutes vs. Imperium [6-Man Tag Match]
Brawling Brutes will defeat Imperium because this is a non-title match, in which Gunther can lose without losing credibility or the championship. This victory will give Sheamus the momentum he needs to get another shot at Intercontinental Championship. He got a standing ovation after his slugfest with Gunther at Clash at the Castle and officially turned babyface.
The fans are now clamoring for Sheamus to win his first Intercontinental Championship and achieve his grand slam. Somebody may have to call 1-800-Fella because it’s only a matter of time.
Prediction: Brawling Brutes
Dexter Lumis vs. The Miz [House of Horrors Match]
Dexter Lumis will defeat The Miz because this is his PPV debut since returning and would be a neat way to officially introduce him into the main roster. He has been haunting Miz from under the ring, in the backstage area, and even at his house.
Although Miz is a former world champion, he frequently finds himself in matches that he will inevitably lose. It is understandable that he is in that veteran status after having an established career, but he needs at least some wins under his belt to maintain his credibility. That way, when someone defeats him, it means something.
Prediction: Dexter Lumis
