There’s another week of professional wrestling action ahead for both AEW and WWE. Looking forward, here are three big angles that fans should keep their eye on heading into the week of October 24.

Mustafa Ali’s moment

WWE Raw on October 17 ended with Mustafa Ali standing tall, chasing off the WWE United States Champion, Seth Rollins. It was a moment that Ali fans have wanted to see for a long time, especially since returning to the promotion earlier this year.

This will probably lead to a match between the two at WWE Crown Jewel. If this match is booked it will be the biggest match of Ali’s career. But what he has shown is that he continues to step up in these situations – look back to his matches with Buddy Murphy for example. Rollins is the perfect dance partner for this moment because as he’s shown so much, he is the one that elevates all his foes – even those that are already exceptional. Heading into the October 24 edition of WWE Raw, the developing feud between Ali and Rollins is one to keep a close eye on.

Jade Cargill vs Nyla Rose taking center stage in AEW women’s division

The AEW women’s division hasn’t had the most help when it comes to fleshed-out storylines. That has been especially true during Jade Cargill’s run as TBS Champion. While the focus has been on her undefeated streak, there hasn’t been much room for her foes to add to the equation. That was until Nyla Rose was added to the TBS title picture.

Rose is one of the best members of the AEW women’s division by far. While her first title run left much to be desired, her work as a consummate heel threat has helped build the division when it was needed. It will be interesting to see how Rose and Cargill play off against each other as this angle continues. While it may seem like a “cheap” angle, to begin with, giving Cargill and Rose the opportunity to work together for an extended run will benefit them both, especially as the rest of the women’s division is lacking for such stories.

Who is Hit Row’s surprise partner?

Legado del Fantasma has targeted Hit Row once again, extending their feud from WWE NXT. It’s a good callback and a way to introduce LDF to main roster viewers. This week’s angle is B-Fab has an “idea” of who they can bring in to even up the odds against LDF, creating a mystery angle for the October 28 edition of SmackDown. Fans are speculating about who that person could be heading into Friday’s show.

Next. Cora Jade is ushering in a new generation of youth in NXT. dark

Carmelo Hayes seems to be the name that comes to mind for most, but should he be in this place? Yes, Hayes is the main roster ready, even working some dark matches in recent weeks. Plus, he was unable to win the NXT North American Champion at Halloween Havoc, signaling his time with NXT may be over. But Hayes doesn’t need to be introduced in this manner. No disrespect to Hit Row, but Hayes is a star in his own right, even with Shawn Michaels signing off on the talent. That doesn’t leave a lot of room for who Hit Row could bring in, but the surprise will have a lot of attention leading up to the big moment.
