Bianca Belair and Bayley once again stole the show, this time with their Last Woman Standing match at WWE Crown Jewel 2022. It was an excellent match with numerous spots that fans will talk about for months to come. “What’s next,” is the question coming out of this feud and even though Survivor Series and the potential War Games match is on the horizon, Belair’s next big challenger must come in the form of Charlotte Flair.

Belair has defeated three of the four members of the Four Horsewomen. And she’s done so in big matches when the lights were shining the brightest. Flair is the only one that she hasn’t defeated and with the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season on the horizon, now is the time to put that match together.

How should WWE get to this match? With War Games set for Survivor Series, many people are speculating on the makeup of both teams. If Damage CTRL is poised to be one of the groups, Flair could fit in as their fourth under the basis of her connection to Bayley and potentially IYO Sky. Plus, Flair picked up a strong win over Belair during her run-up to her second NXT Champion run. Giving that team the win over Belair’s potential team with Flair getting the pinfall opens the door to building that feud.

This is the same direction used when Raquel Rodriguez pinned Rhea Ripley during a War Games match back on NXT. That led to the eventual story where Rodriguez took the title from Ripley in a back-and-forth feud. One thing is for sure, Flair does not need to win the Royal Rumble to set the match for WrestleMania. She’s already done so and that match needs to be used to build a new name in the women’s division. This is the year where it’s needed the most.

Many expected Bayley to take the title from Belair at least once during this feud that kicked off at SummerSlam. Surprisingly, that did not happen. Belair swept Bayley in a dominant fashion. It would be hard to see the same thing happen with Flair. As she rides a 217-day run as WWE Raw Women’s Champion, some compare her booking to John Cena and that could lead to yet another victory.

Bianca Belair is the top women’s star in all professional wrestling, regardless of promotion. She continues to excel in the role and has picked up another big win along the way. The final challenge at this point in her run should come against Charlotte Flair and that’s the next feud WWE must build to deliver.
