WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2022 event card and info

WWE is bringing a new match type to the main roster in WarGames.

Survivor Series is a staple among WWE PPVs, known as one of the big four each year alongside the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and SummerSlam. This year’s edition of the show has infused the event with some intrigue under the leadership of Triple H, as not only is this a showcase of teams in the WWE, but the WarGames match is coming to the main roster.

WarGames has been a staple on the NXT brand and is well-known to wrestling fans who followed WCW and other organizations years ago. WWE has added its own flavor to the stipulation match, but it was only featured on NXT. Now, it has come to the main roster at a time when Survivor Series has grown quite stale under the guise of “Brand Supremacy.”

WarGames features two teams, both comprised of five members. Two individuals start in the ring and periodically, one member from each team is added to the match inside the steel cage. Once all ten members are in the ring, the match officially begins. Survivor Series WarGames will feature two matches, one for the women and one for the men.

Survivor Series WarGames is set for Saturday, November 26 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

• The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, and The Brawling Brutes in a Men’s WarGames match
• Ronda Rousey versus Shotzi Blackheart in a singles match for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
• Finn Balor versus AJ Styles in a singles match
• Seth Rollins versus Bobby Lashley versus Austin Theory in a triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship
