WWE Survivor Series 2022 Foolproof Predictions: Becky Lynch Will LOSE
By Mark Justice
WWE Survivor Series War Games 2022 is this Saturday, and the WWE has already made five matches official for this “premium live event.” WWE did announce that War Games will make its debut on the main roster at Survivor Series this year. The following will provide some foolproof match card predictions for what should be one of the most exciting PPVs of the year: WWE Survivor Series War Games 2022.
WWE Survivor Series War Games 2022 is scheduled to take place on November 26, 2022, live on Peacock. Here are some foolproof match card predictions.
Team Belair vs. Damage Control [Women’s War Games]
"Team Belair: Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Mia Yim, Asuka, & Alexa BlissDamage Control: Bayley, Rhea Ripley, Nikki Cross, Iyo Sky, & Dakota Kai"
Damage Control needs to defeat Team Belair for three reasons. Bayley needs to regain her momentum after losing twice to Belair in Raw Women’s Championship matches. Nikki Cross needs the win to solidify her revived gimmick. Most importantly, Rhea Ripley needs the win and the pinfall on Belair to solidify herself as the new #1 contender for the Raw Women’s Title, especially since she never got her title shot at WWE MITB 2022. That stare-down between Ripley and Belair on Raw already planted the seeds, so WWE should deliver this next feud for Belair now.
Prediction: Damage Control
AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor [Grudge Match]
AJ Styles will defeat Finn Balor because he is en established star who hasn’t won on PPV in 2022, so Survivor Series, the last main roster PPV of the year, will be his time to shine. Even though Balor is rumored to be booked for a huge push and is fresh off a singles victory over Edge, Styles still needs the win more after losing to Judgment Day in that six-man tag match at Crown Jewel as well as after losing to Balor the first time they battled at WWE TLC 2017. Now that the Rhea Ripley problem is taken care of with Mia Yim, there should be no excuse for a Styles face victory.
Prediction: AJ Styles
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Austin Theory [U.S. Championship]
Seth Rollins will retain the U.S. Title against Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory. Rollins recently won the title from Lashley so it would be too soon to take the title from him just yet, especially since his first U.S. Title reign in 2015 was short. This is merely a means for Rollins to solidify his reign by defeating two former U.S. Champions. It can be argued that Theory should win to redeem himself from the failed MITB cash in and follow through on his recent pent up aggression. However, Rollins should have a long reign with the belt, go to Mania, and defend it against Cody Rhodes.
Prediction: Seth Rollins
Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Shotzi Blackheart [SmackDown Women’s Championship]
Ronda Rousey will retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Shotzi Blackheart because Ronda just won the belt from Liv Morgan and Shotzi is not built well enough to become champion at this point in her career. This is her first title match on the main roster, so it is a great opportunity for her to showcase her in-ring abilities on a big fight field, attempt some nearfalls to get the crowd on their feet, and basically get over as a babyface. Nonetheless, Rousey will win when all is said and done and move on to Raquel after already ‘injuring’ her arm on SmackDown.
Prediction: Ronda Rousey
The Bloodline vs. Team McIntyre [Men’s War Games]
"The Bloodline: Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, UsosTeam McIntyre: Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Kevin Owens, Brawling Brutes"
Although Team McIntyre seems quite convincing, they are way too makeshift to take down The Bloodline. Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens still have a bone to pick with The Bloodline, and Sheamus and Brawling Brutes need their revenge against The Bloodline for writing Sheamus off television with an injury, Despite the teased tension between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, The Bloodline has solidified itself as the most dominant and entertaining faction on SmackDown to the point that it makes no sense for them to lose until dissension becomes a serious issue.
Prediction: Bloodline
