WWE NXT No Mercy 2023 Predictions: Becky Lynch Will BURY Tiffany Stratton

WWE NXT No Mercy 2023 is this Saturday, and WWE has already announced four matches for this “premium live event”: Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Title, Becky Lynch (c) vs. Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Title, Bron Breakker vs. Baron Corbin, and Dirty Dom (c) vs. Mustafa Ali for the NXT North American Title. Only caveat with that last match is that Mustafa Ali got released by WWE this week, so that match is likely not taking place anymore. Noam Dar is also expected to defend his Heritage Cup against the winner of the ongoing tournament.

With that being said, the following will provide some foolproof match card predictions for what should be the biggest NXT event of the fall: WWE NXT No Mercy 2023.

WWE NXT No Mercy is scheduled to take place on September 30, 2023, live on Peacock. Here are the full match card predictions.

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Tiffany Stratton [NXT Women’s Championship: Extreme Rules Match]

Becky Lynch will defeat Tiffany Stratton to retain the NXT Women’s Title due to recency bias. The biggest draw in the women’s division just won her first NXT Women’s Title in her career that finalized er Grand Slam Achievement. She is not losing yet. Also, from both a business perspective, she adds so much value to the women’s division as the champion altogether by giving the division more spotlight with more eyes in the product. Tiffany will get written off and called up to the main roster whilst Becky potentially elevates Blair Davenport down the line as the next top heel in NXT.

Prediction: Becky Lynch

Noam Dar (c) vs. Butch [NXT Heritage Cup Championship]

Butch will dethrone Noam Dar to win the NXT Heritage Cup Championship because Brawling Brutes have nothing substantial to do on SmackDown other than job to other teamns.. They might as well come to NXT and brawl with other factions like Meta-Four and Gallus for solid bangers.

Prediction: Butch

Bron Breakker vs. Baron Corbin [Unsanctioned Match]

Bron Breakker will defeat Baron Corbin because Corbin is a free agent who won’t be winning any matches on big events. Just like Von Wagner, he is merely being fed to Breakker so that Breakker can continue his momentum as a top heel in the division. Hopefully, he gets called up soon.

Prediction: Bron Breakker

Dirty Dom (c) vs. Dragon Lee [NXT North American Championship]

Since Mustafa Ali got released, the only superstar who makes sense to battle Dirty Dom for the title is Dragon Lee. WWE already booked this match for Raw, but Lee could also win the title on Raw for nonsensical shock value to set up the rematch here, where Dom takes it back.

Prediction: Dirty Dom

Carmelo Hayes (c) vs. Ilja Dragunov [NXT Championship Main Event]

Although Becky Lynch vs. Tiffany Stratton would be a solid main event due to the special stipulation of Extreme Rules, NXT will likely stick to tradition and main event the show with the NXT World Title. They will likely do that because a huge title change is coming here. Last time these two fought was at NXT Great American Bash, where Hayes retained in a spectacular match. with a slight tease of Trick Williams betraying Hayes. Now, it’s time for Dragunov to get his win back and win NXT’s top prize, thanks to Trick Williams finally puling the trigger on his heel turn.
