WWE FastLane 2023 is this Saturday, and only four matches have been officially announced for this PLE event: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Last Man Standing Match, Iyo Sky (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka for the WWE Women’s Championship, LWO vs. Street Business, and John Cena and LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. WWE still has the opportunity to make some last-minute additions to the card, as Gunther and Tomasso Ciampa are scheduled to have a contract signing on Raw for the IC Title this week.

With that being said, the following will focus on predicting the four announced matches as well as some potential go-home additions for WWE FastLane 2023.

WWE FastLane 2023 is scheduled to take place on October 7, 2023, live on Peacock, and here are the full match card predictions for this PLE event.

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura [World Heavyweight Championship]

Seth Rollins will retain the world title against Shinsuke Nakamura because WWE will need a babyface champion to battle the heel Roman Reigns at Survivor Series. So, expect Rollins to get his revenge for Nakamura’s back attacks in what should be a compelling opener to this B-level PLE. These two actually wrestled at FastLane before, and it was at WWE Fastlane 2021. Seth Rollins has Nakamura’s number because he won that match, and it is likely history will repeat itself here in what will be a match with a special stipulation: Last Man Standing Match.

Prediction: Seth Rollins

Iyo Sky (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka [WWE Women’s Championship]

Iyo Sky will retain the WWE Women’s Championship in her first PPV Title defense. She just won the title at SummerSlam, and her first title reign on the main roster would be embarrassing if she lost it so soon. By process of elimination, Asuka has no business winning the title so soon after losing it at SummerSlam and she will likely reunite with Kairi Sane after she returns in November. Although Charlotte Flair can never be counted out, she can still be protected in defeat due to distractions from Damage Control whilst Asuka eats the pinfall to Iyo again.

Prediction: Iyo Sky

Gunther (c) vs. Tommaso Ciampa [Intercontinental Championship]

Gunther will retain the Intercontinental Championship against Tommaso Ciampa because Ciampa has not been built up well enough to end the amazing and memorable title reign Gunther has laid out this past calendar year. Ciampa is better off pursuing the tag titles with his former DIY tag team partner, Johnny Gargano, who still has yet to make his return to TV. Gunther will either lose his title to the most over babyface superstar on the roster today, LA Knight, or a returning credible Randy Orton, who only once held the IC TItle, the first title he ever won in his long tenured career.

Prediction: Gunther

John Cena & LA Knight vs. Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso [Tag Match]

John Cena and LA Knight will defeat The Bloodline because it has been rumored that LA Knight is being built up for a World Title match against Roman Reigns at the next PPV. If that is truly the case, this match against some Bloodline sidekicks is merely a stepping stone for LA Knight to get over more than he has already, especially with Cena in his corner. They teased this team ever since Cena was a special guest referee for LA Knight’s match against Miz at PayBack. AJ Styles also has strong ties with this storyline, so it will be interesting if he returns here after being written off.

Prediction: John Cena & LA Knight

LWO vs. Street Business [6-Man Tag Match]

Street Business will defeat LWO in this scheduled six-man tag team match to assert their dominance as a new faction and potentially earn U.S. and tag title shots. It has not yet been revealed which members of the LWO will be participating in this match. However, it seems that Dragon Lee may be joining the LWO because he was involved in their storyline last week and is scheduled to battle Austin Theory on SmackDown this week. This could be an official call up for Lee, and if that’s the case, Street Business will be defeating Mysterio, Escobar and Lee.

Prediction: Street Business

Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Judgment Day [8-Man Tag Match]

Judgment Day will defeat Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn because they are the only legitimate faction on Monday Night Raw and need that momentum for War Games at Survivor Series. They did tease a faction war with Street Business earlier this year, and the tag titles they currently hold will allow them to go to SmackDown and interact with them more. They could even reignite their long-term feud with LWO and add some closure to that feud. There should be a special high-stake stipulation for this 8-man tag match: If Team Cody loses, Cody leaves Raw.

Prediction: Judgment Day
