WWE Raw Predictions: Brock Lesnar Will Replace Drew McIntyre

WWE Raw is continuing its road to WWE Survivor Series 2023, which is shaping up with some blockbuster War Games matches pertaining to any ongoing Raw feuds. On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, five matches have been officially scheduled: (1) Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn, (2) Becky Lynch (c) vs. Indi Hartwell for the NXT Women’s Championship, (3) Johnny Gargno vs. Giovanni Vinci, (4) New Day vs. Alpha Academy, and (5) Mr. MITB Damian Priest vs. Main Event Jey Uso. Also, will Brock Lesnar replace Drew McIntyre in his upcoming title match with Seth Rollins?

In other news regarding WWE Raw, Judgment Day won back the tag team titles from Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in the main event and will have a celebration to kick off Raw this week. Speaking of Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley has her hands full as champion with Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, and Zoey Stark targeting her at every corner. Elsewhere in the women’s division, Tegan Nox and Natalya are feuding with Chelsea Green and Piper Niven for the tag titles. Logan Paul is also set to appear after challenging Rey Mysterio for the U.S. Title on SmackDown.

With that being said, the following will focus on the five announced matches and the idea of Brock Lesnar replacing Drew McIntyre on the road to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

WWE Raw is scheduled to take place on October 23, 2023, live on USA Network, and Brock Lesnar will replace Drew McIntyre en route to WWE Survivor Series 2023.

Mr. MITB Damian Priest vs. Main Event Jey Uso [MITB ShowCase Match]

This match could go either way, but Mr. MITB Damian Priest will win this match thanks to the numbers advantage from his heel brethren at ringside in Finn Balor, Dirty Dom, JD McDonagh, and especially Rhea Ripley. Ripley has been flirting with Jey Uso for weeks and would be a huge distraction to Jey Uso in this match. JD McDonagh also has to prove himself to Priest by assuring a victory for him here. It is possible that Jey Uso redeems himself from the tag title loss last week and defies the distractions with help from Cody, but they have no one to neutralize Ripley.

New Day vs. Alpha Academy [Tag Match]

New Day will defeat Alpha Academy because they are still building themselves up for future tag titles against Judgment Day and need to look strong for their current tag rivalry with Viking Raiders. Alpha Academy is already a lost cause as a tag team at this point, as the focus is tailored to Chad Gable’s single run and quest to dethrone Gunther for the InterContinental Championship. Nonetheless, there is one caveat, as it is possible that Viking Raiders force a no contest here, as they have prior beef and unfinished business with both New Day and Alpha Academy.
