WWE WrestleMania 40 is still eight months away, but it is never too early to make some match card predictions for the biggest show of the year. Since this event is two nights, it is expected that there will be six to seven matches per night. Night 2 should feature the world champion Roman Reign from Friday Night SmackDown, as Night 2 has belonged to the Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the past few years now. WrestleMania is the stage for dream matches, jaw-dropping performances, and epic moments. WWE bills it “The Show of the Immortals” for good reason.

With that being said, the following will provide some very early match card predictions for night 2 of what should be one of the most exciting PPVs of the year: WWE WrestleMania 40.

WWE WrestleMania 40 Night 2 is scheduled to take place on April 7, 2024, live on Peacock, and Cody Rhodes will dethrone Roman Reigns to finish the story.

Judgment Day (c) vs. DIY [Undisputed Tag Team Championships]

DIY will dethrone Judgment Day to become the new Undisputed Tag Team Champions. DIY just reunited on Raw and Judgment Day recently won back the tag titles. They are in completely different feuds right now, but their paths will soon cross on the grandest stage of them all. DIY is the best babyface tag team to take down the heel Judgment Day in a grandiose WrestleMania moment, especially after Judgment Day has done nothing but run roughshod on Raw. This will be Gargano and Ciampa’s consolation prize after failing to win singles gold on the main roster.

Prediction: DIY

Liv Morgan vs. Raquel Rodriguez [Tables Match]

When Liv Morgan returns from injury, many fans are expected her to avenge Rhea Ripley for writing her off television with what was a devastating beatdown and dethrone her for the world title, Although that is likely, it seems that WWE is more invested in either Becky Lynch or Jade Cargill challenging Ripley at Mania. However, that should not stop WWE from booking Morgan in a compelling program against her tag partner, Raquel Rodriguez, who is in serious need of a heel turn. They will have a trilogy, where Rodriguez wins the first match and Morgan wins the last two.

Prediction: Liv Morgan
