ROH: Final Battle 2023 Event Card and Information

ROH’s year end pay-per-view, Final Battle is on Friday, December 15. ATHENA will defend her Women’s Championship against her minion, Billie Starkz in the main event. There will be a Survival of the Fittest match to crown a new Television Champion.

The World Championship is on the line in AEW in the Continental Classic, but will not be defended at Final Battle. It will be part of the new Triple Crown Championship along with the NJPW STRONG Championship.

Following episode 42 of Honor Club, Tony Khan announced two matches. Newly crowned PURE Champion Wheeler Yuta will defend his title against “Filthy” Tom Lawlor.

Fresh off NJPW’s World Tag League, Gates of Agony will join with one-third of the Six-Man Champions, Brian Cage, to face off against members of TMDK (Shane Haste, Bad Dude Tito, and Kosei Fujita). Haste also competed in World Tag League with Mikey Nicholls.

The ROH tag team titles haven’t been defended once on Honor Club since Better Than You Bay Bay won them back in August at ALL IN. Adam Cole was injured early into their title reign. Instead of forcing them to vacate, MJF has defended them twice: Once on his own and once with Samoa Joe. MJF was injured at Full Gear but refuses to vacate the tag titles or AEW World Championship.

Before the main show, there will be Zero Hour. The Outrunners will face The Von Erichs (Marshall and Ross). The pre-show will air on Honor Club, as well as YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
