WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13 is a major night in professional wrestling. John Cena is wrapping up his career in Washington DC. To bring his run to an end, he'll face the winner of the "Time is Now" Tournament. But that's not the only big deal worth discussing. That night will also feature several exhibition matches between names from the main roster and WWE NXT. That's a big announcement that has several implications, and here are three performers from NXT who must be featured on that card.

"It will be my final in-ring performance, but also in a chance to give people a time to shine and showcase their skills, it will be a night where main WWE roster superstars host exhibitions for the brightest NXT has to offer for the future of this business," John Cena said. "December 13 is about closing one chapter and also about paving the road ahead."

That is a big move and exactly what John Cena's retirement tour should have been about. Giving fans the big matches like Cena versus AJ Styles, while also giving young performers the "rub" from the biggest superstar in professional wrestling and sports entertainment, regardless of promotion. With the future in mind, here are three superstars who must be on that card.

Oba Femi

Listen, Oba Femi may be the biggest future star on the NXT roster. He looks the part. Performs like the part. Fans have already recognized him as a potential WrestleMania main eventer. If Triple H somehow finds a way to botch Femi on the main roster, fans should ostricize him every chance they get. But before that moment comes, he should appear on the December 13 episode of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event to squash someone on the main roster. He could even squash a tag team like Pretty Deadly. Whatever the company plans, Femi needs to be one of the main talking points coming out of that show.

Trick Williams

Trick Williams has done all he can do in WWE NXT. He needs to be moved to the main roster sooner, rather than later. Many are predicting that he'll be the man to answer the open spot in the bracket to take on LA Knight in the "Last Time Is Now" Tournament. If that happens, that would make sense. Don't expect Williams to get a victory over Knight, but this would be a great way to re-introduce him to the SmackDown audience where he has appeared once in the past.

Lola Vice

WWE continues to push its expansion south of the border. Spanish-speaking performers are a big part of that. Lola Vice is someone the WWE must leverage as it continues to embrace Mexico via AAA. She's already appeared in AAA multiple times, and it looks like that will continue to be the case. Seeing her pop up on WWE SmackDown for a big match and win will only build more momentum behind her development.

Kelani Jordan

Kelani Jordan is the perfect WWE babyface. While she's fully embraced a heel persona on NXT as the TNA Knockouts Champion, WWE's best chance at building Jordan into a star would be to elevate her as a babyface when she does move to the main roster. She should get a featured match during this exhibition showcase, picking up a win against someone like Alba Fyre or another performer in the women's division who isn't getting a big push.
