On Saturday, September 20th, All Elite Wrestling will be holding its seventh All Out pay-per-view event. Following 2023’s Forbidden Door held in the same venue, this will be AEW’s second PPV in Canada and the first All Out held outside US territory.
A special Saturday Tailgate Brawl will air at 2 PM EST for free on TNT and HBO Max. The main card is set for 3 PM Eastern, available for Max subscribers through a paywall or via pay-per-view outlets such as Triller. The earlier start time was announced to avoid direct conflict with WWE’s WrestlePalooza PLE, which will be held in the evening as the first broadcast of their newly-inked agreement with ESPN.
For the AEW World Championship, the defending “Hangman” Adam Page will face off against reigning TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher. After being laid out at Dynasty in the spring, Adam Copeland will finally get his hands on FTR alongside longtime friend Christian Cage. Darby Allin continues his crusade against the Death Riders, facing their leader, Jon Moxley, in a Coffin Match. Also booked for the card is a triple threat for Kazuchika Okada’s Unified Championship, a four-way for the Women’s World Championship, and the return of a beloved star after a year and a half-long absence.

An eight-woman Tornado Tailgate Brawl will be held as part of the Zero Hour pre-show. The contest will see Willow Nightingale, Queen Aminata, Harley Cameron, and interim ROH Women’s World TV Champion Mina Shirakawa face off against Penelope Ford, Megan Bayne, and the Triangle of Madness’ Skye Blue & Julia Hart. Since the Triangle of Madness formed during the summer, they've been a consistent thorn in the side of the loose-knit group of faces formed to combat their influence. This looks to be a BBQ-themed, weapons-forward brawl similar to the likes of Arcade Anarchy meant to entice viewers into buying the PPV.
Representing The Opps, two-thirds of the World Trios Champions, Samoa Joe & Powerhouse Hobbs, will be up against The WorkHorseman. This marks JD Drake and Anthony Henry's return to AEW, having spent a chunk of the past year benched due to injuries suffered by both men. Making their comeback for Deadlock Pro Wrestling in the summer, they've made sporadic appearances for the indy as well as ROH. Meanwhile, The Opps are looking to maintain their dominance over the company's midcard.
Also on the Zero Hour, Daniel Garcia and co-holder of the World Trios Championships, Katsuyori Shibata, will have their rubber match. At 2023's Death Before Dishonor, Shibata successfully defended the ROH Pure Championship against the young upstart. On the January 11th Collision broadcast, Garcia bested The Wrestler in a TNT Championship match. With the Death Riders flanking him now, Garcia is looking to hone his killer instinct on his former mentor.
After defending the AEW World Championship against MJF at Forbidden Door, Hangman Page became locked in the crosshairs of the Don Callis Family. Challenging for the gold will be Kyle Fletcher, currently the TNT Champion with two defenses. The young star has turned heads for his high-impact, athletic performances since he began working singles last year. Page has said he sees a younger version of himself in Fletcher, but in his eyes the challenger isn't ready to be champion.
Parallel to how he sent Kenny Omega packing in a stretcher on the September 4th Dynamite, Fletcher sent Page through a table via a brainbuster off the apron to the floor on the go-home show heading into this event. Fletcher will be entering the biggest match of his career at a disadvantage, with his fellow Callis Family members being banned from ringside. If Callis or his henchmen interfere on Fletcher's behalf, he will be disqualified and stripped of the TNT Title.
The friendship between Adam Copeland and FTR has been public knowledge since 2020, when the Rated R Superstar revealed to ESPN that the duo aided his in-ring comeback thanks to all of them living in the same town. Cope went to bat for the team as they had their foot out the door, frustrated with the WWE’s creative process (h/t 411MANIA). After Seth Rollins invaded his home on an October 2021 SmackDown, the former Edge told his wife Beth Phoenix that “Daniel and David” (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler’s real names) were on the way to sort things out.
After Rated FTR failed to win the World Trios Championships at Dynasty, Harwood & Wheeler turned on Cope and laid him out. Cope wouldn’t be seen until All In, where he’d reunite with Christian Cage, with the team winning their comeback match at Forbidden Door. Having rekindled their alliance, Cope and Cage look to evoke the same success that made them seven-time tag team champions.
Also at the event, fans will see Jon Moxley square off against Darby Allin in AEW’s fifth-ever Coffin Match. At Forbidden Door's Lights Out Steel Cage closer, Allin’s team secured the victory but following their loss, Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli beat down Will Ospreay to send the Aerial Assassin into sabbatical. Allin has continued to lead the charge, nearly tossing Mox off a fire escape and beating Castagnoli in a Falls Count Anywhere match. However, Moxley will have an edge in the form of a newly defected Daniel Garcia among the Death Riders' ranks.
Darby is 3-1 in Coffin Matches, having lost his most recent at All In last summer against Jack Perry. While Mox has never fought in a Coffin Match, he has never lost to Allin in singles across their two AEW encounters (three counting a 2019 independent match).
“Timeless” Toni Storm will defend her Women’s World Championship in a four-way for the first time as Megan Bayne, Kris Statlander, and Thekla all challenge for the gold. Though Storm successfully retained against Bayne at Dynasty, the loss remains the only singles blemish on the record of The Megasus. Statlander and Thekla will offer a new obstacle for the Hollywood starlet, as Statlander hasn’t challenged for the Women’s World Championship in over four years. At September to Remember, Thekla defeated Queen Aminata in a No Holds Barred match in another hit for the Toxic Spider in her freshman year with the company.
The Unified Championship will be up for grabs as Kazuchika Okada faces off against fellow Don Callis Family member Konosuke Takeshita and Máscara Dorada. Okada is currently the longest reigning champion in AEW canon, clocking in at 546+ days after winning the Continental Championship on a March 2024 Dynamite broadcast from Toronto. After aligning with Don Callis and defeating rival Kenny Omega at All In, Okada became the Unified Champion after winning the International Championship. In a mini-tournament leading into this three-way match, Okada defeated RevPro standout Michael Oku on Collision.
Opening that same episode, DCF original Takeshita defeated Anthony Bowens to achieve contendership. Takeshita has had a banner year thus far, becoming a multipromotional dual champion at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 19 and winning the 35th G1 Climax tournament in the summer. This rise in The Alpha’s profile has driven a wedge between him and The Rainmaker, who has only been part of Callis’ camp since June.
At September to Remember, Máscara Dorada won a qualifier by beating The Beast Mortos to fill out the third spot. The second luchador to don the mask, the 23 year old has slowly climbed the ranks of his native CMLL while gaining international exposure through their working relationship with AEW.
Inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion Riho makes her first pay-per-view appearance since 2023’s World’s End, challenging TBS Champion Mercedes Moné. Riho had been out of action for over a year due to an arm injury suffered during a July 2024 Collision taping against Lady Frost, returning to active competition last week in a tag match.
Moné on the other hand, has planted herself firmly in the women’s division since winning the TBS Championship last year, only being pinned by World Champion Toni Storm in July. Moné is a known admirer of joshi, so this could be an interesting clash of styles. If she retains, Moné will be on track to becoming the longest reigning TBS Champion ever by October 17th, the day before WrestleDream.
In trios actions, The Hurt Syndicate will take on Ricochet and the GOA. The former Gates of Agony joined forces with Ricochet in June, laying out AR Fox in a backstage segment. On the Forbidden Door Zero Hour, they defeated JetSpeed and Michael Oku in their first-ever team-up. Later on, they’d interfere in the three-way World Tag Team Championship elimination match, causing The Hurt Syndicate to lose the titles after a 214-day reign. Ricochet justified this act by showing fans footage of his failed attempt at joining their group at Holiday Bash last year.
The trio would challenge The Opps for the World Trios Championships, but this was unsuccessful as MVP struck Ricochet’s back with a cane, leading to Samoa Joe choking him out.
For the first-ever Tables ‘n’ Thumbtacks Match, MJF will stand opposite Mark Briscoe after months of bubbling tension between the two. On the go-home show to All In, Mark called out MJF for his demeaning of the Texas fans and mocking their working-class identity before the former AEW World Champion spoke ill of his late brother, Jay Briscoe. MJF would find victory at the PPV in the Men’s Casino Gauntlet, stealing Mark’s pin on Roderick Strong. MJF had the World Championship won at Forbidden Door after scoring a phony three-count, a call that was protested by Briscoe. The official motioned to continue the match, leading Hangman to retain.
Ricochet and the GOA were enlisted by MJF to take care of Briscoe, but this was foiled with the aid of Brodido. Briscoe made his intentions known for the TNT Championship, but Don Callis placed a blockade before him in the form of Konosuke Takeshita. Barely 24 hours removed from his wedding ceremony with Alicia Atout, Friedman interfered to the chagrin of Takeshita and laid an open challenge to Briscoe under any stipulation of his choosing. On the following Collision broadcast a week later, in a tribute to the extreme legends of the 2300 Arena, Briscoe revealed the stipulation as the first-ever TNT Match. After this was made known, MJF confronted Tony Khan backstage, urging him to cut him from the match, with TK refusing to do so.
The night before All Out, MJF will be in Mexico City defending the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship against Místico for their 92nd Anniversary Show in a Mask vs. Title match. This brings into question his physical condition, as his opponent will be entering this brutal contest comparatively refreshed.
A four-way tag team ladder match will be held for the World Tag Team Championships, following three qualifying matches held this past Wednesday for September to Remember. Brodido will be entering as the champions, having won the belts at Forbidden Door off The Hurt Syndicate in an elimination match also featuring FTR. Since joining forces leading into that event, the team has proven popular for their unique complement of styles and exciting finishers.
After winning a $500,000 tag team match, The Young Bucks have accrued new wealth after losing their EVP roles in July. Flexing their reclaimed entrance themes and gratuitous pyro, they defeated Austin Gunn & Juice Robinson of the Bang Bang Gang to qualify. JetSpeed would secure the victory against The Matriarchy's Killswitch & Kip Sabian after Sabian was abandoned by the reptilian. Finally, Top Flight was defeated by Don Callis Family representatives Josh Alexander and Hechicero in the main event of the TV special.
After calling him out on the September 6th airing of Collision, Big Bill faces fellow New Yorker Eddie Kingston. The Mad King hasn’t wrestled since NJPW’s Resurgence in May of last year, where he suffered a major leg injury in a championship defense against Gabe Kidd. Since then, Kingston has been on the road to recovery in spite of setbacks prolonging his time away from the road. Fans have eagerly awaited for the former Continental Champ’s return to television, in a landscape distinct to the one he left in the spring of 2024.
