AEW Full Gear 2024 Predictions: Shane McMahon Will SCREW Orange Cassidy

AEW Full Gear 2024 is one week from Saturday in Newark, NJ, at the Prudential Center and AEW has already confirmed eight epic matches on the main show, featuring former AEW World Champions like MJF, Hangman Adam Page, and Swerve Strickland. It also features the exciting debut of Bobby Lashley as well as title defenses from two of the most popular champions in AEW right now: TBS Champion Mercedes Mone and AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. This card is truly stacked with exciting matchups and stories that will drop the jaws of pro wrestling fans all around the world.

With that being said, it is now time for the highly anticipated Full Gear 2024 Predictions, where Shane McMahon will screw Orange Cassidy in the main event against Jon Moxley for the AEW World Title.

MJF vs. Roderick Strong [Grudge Match]

MJF should be battling Adam Cole by now, but it looks like AEW wants to save that PPV Match for Worlds End in December since Worlds End was the PPV where Adam Cole betrayed MJF as the Devil. Instead, MJF will defeat Roderick Strong at Full Gear this month to gain momentum for his inevitable marquee match against Adam Cole next month. Roderick Strong is merely the filler sidekick who screamed "Adam" more obnoxiously on AEW Television than any time SpongeBob screamed "Squidward." This should be a predictable but hard-hitting contest with a post-match attack by Cole.

Prediction: MJF

Mercedes Mone vs. Kris Statlander [TBS Championship]

Mercedes Mone is on the verge of breaking Jade Cargill's record as TBS Champion in what could be a petty way to get back at Jade Cargill for leaving AEW to go to WWE. Henceforth, there is no way Mercedes is losing that championship to anyone on the roster anytime soon, especially to the one who broke Jade Cargill's streak in the first place, Kris Statlander. Mercedes is not only the highest-paid women's wrestler in professional wrestling but she is also the biggest draw in that AEW Women's Division. So quite frankly, the planet girl will only be seeing stars once that bell rings.
