AEW Revolution 2025 is taking place this Sunday, live on PPV, at the at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, and AEW has already confirmed nine epic matches for the main show alongside a kickoff trios match featuring Big Boom AJ, Orange Cassidy, & Mark Briscoe vs. Johnny TV & M&M Collection. Clearly, The Conglomeration will win that match mostly due to their momentum, credibility, and popularity. There is no story there, so let's focus on the main show matches, starting with the highly anticipated steel cage match between Aussie Open's Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher.

Will Ospreay vs. Kyle Fletcher [Steel Cage Match]

Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher had a trilogy of sorts after some dissension occurred in the Aussie Open. Fletcher, the underdog in this bout, already got a big win over Ospreay at Full Gear. Meanwhile, Ospreay got a win over Fletcher at World's End in the semifinals of the Continental Tournament. Now that they are 1-1 in AEW, this will break the tie. The winner should move onto the main event scene, while the loser can earn a consolation prize in the mid-card. Ospreay is the right man to win here and move on to bigger things, as he is the established talent who is long overdue for a top spot on the card.

Prediction: Will Ospreay

Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Momo Watanabe [AEW TBS Title]

Mercedes Mone has been defending her title against random opponents who neither have sufficient momentum nor credibility to be seen as a threat to her title reign. Momo Watanabe is merely another exemplification of that, which shows how much investment there is in the booking of the women's division in AEW. There is absolutely no foresight in how the TBS Title has been booked since Mercedes Mone has won it. Quite frankly, the only theme is Mercedes becoming the belt collector like Kenny Omega, and she will likely target Athena's ROH Title at the next PPV to hold 5 titles.

Prediction: Mercedes Mone

Hurt Syndicate (c) vs. The Outrunners [AEW Tag Team Titles]

The Outrunners have no business being in this tag title match. Just like Momo Watanabe, they neither have sufficient momentum nor credibility to be seen as a threat to this title reign, especially since Hurt Syndicate only recently won the championships. Nonetheless, this would be a good opportunity to introduce Cedric Alexander to the Hurt Syndicate. He has a history with both men during the tenure of the Hurt Business in the WWE, so he would fit in this group like a glove after MVP recruits him. Hurt Syndicate will win here and move forward with a dominant reign as Tag Champs.

Prediction: Hurt Syndicate
