WWE is inching closer to its premiere on Netflix. The January 6 start date is approaching, and there are rumors that Netflix is pushing to have key members of the WWE roster on that show. If the plan is to make some moves to change up who is on which roster, here are some ideas to acts who should switch shows if the opportunity presents itself.

Roman Reigns

Moving Roman Reigns from SmackDown to Monday Night Raw would be an interesting shift. The Tribal Chief has ruled SmackDown, remaining a major draw for that show each week. He’s also taken to a “reduced” schedule and he doesn’t consistently appear every week. Moving him to Mondays creates some new opportunities for not only him but the rest of those individuals involved in The Bloodline. Think about some of the matches that are possible with Reigns on a different show. Individuals like Bronson Reed, GUNTHER, Chad Gable, and maybe even picking back up with Braun Strowman. There’s interest in seeing what Reigns will look like without The Bloodline angle being his main story. Moving him to Netflix would be a way to see how that plays out.

Motor City Machine Guns

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley are two of the best wrestlers in the business. Not only are they a great team, but they shine as individual stars as well. Moving them to Monday Night Raw would be an opportunity to light a spark within the entire tag team division. Plus, if there’s a chance to see them make a run as singles performers, that would be a positive change for the promotion as well. WWE should not pigeonhole these two men into the tag team division, as they’d be missing out on their abilities as singles stars.

 Finn Balor

It’s time to get Finn Balor away from The Judgment Day angle. Fans still hope that the man once known as Prince Devitt will get his time at the top as a main-roster champion. He recently celebrated his ten-year anniversary with WWE, and he remains one of the most popular performers in the company. If he were shifted from Raw to SmackDown, the door would open for him to be pushed into the main event as a top heel. There are a lot of names on SmackDown. It would be interesting to see him work with. Switching Balor’s show would be a good move.

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre stood out as one of the most important heels in WWE this year. He’s been absent since losing the Hell in a Cell match to CM Punk, and after the carnage that was that match, it makes perfect sense. If McIntyre returned during the Royal Rumble and was announced as a SmackDown draft pick, that would give him a fresh start after failing to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre should get a strong run as a stop champion and it could happen by moving him over to SmackDown.
