AEW All In 2025 is a few short hours away. The anticipation for what may be the most important PPV in AEW’s short history was already high, but it is continuing to surge. The main event of the evening pits “Hangman” Adam Page against Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. It is a monumental affair with high stakes from a creative standpoint, and fans are watching closely to see who comes out on top. There’s a huge push to see Page win the championship, and it would be the right move at the right time.

“Hangman” Adam Page is the hero that AEW needs, and now is the time that the company needs him, both in storyline and out. Jon Moxley’s character is one who is trying to weed out the perceived “weakness” that is festering in the promotion. Is that a reality? At least in the perception of the Death Riders, and that brings them directly counter to AEW’s protector in Page.

Look at Page’s character arc and you’ll find one of the best stories told in recent professional wrestling history. He’s gone from the chosen one in the eyes of many, to the anxious cowboy, to the victorious cowboy, failing to protect AEW from CM Punk, and then the personification of violence against Swerve Strickland. Page has gone through every character phase available to some of the greatest heroes in comic book history and come out on the other side nearly perfect in the eyes of AEW fans.

AEW and Tony Khan are all about giving the fans what they want. There have been so many huge moments that have occurred in the promotion, simply because the fans wanted to see them. Unlike other organizations that tend to book in ways that leave fans heartbroken, AEW has even changed course in the face of pushback from its most ardent viewers. That same fanbase is pushing for Page to win the championship on July 12. That would be the right move, but what if it is one that doesn’t happen?

Many believed that the Death Riders' angle was crafted for Darby Allin to be the one to come out the hero. That made sense, looking at how things kicked off. Allin’s dream and achievement of climbing Mount Everest threw a wrench into the situation, but it also opened the door for Page’s surging popularity. Page was already mega-over with fans, but now the momentum has grown to a point where it cannot be ignored.

Would fans be upset if Moxley walked out of the event with the title? Will some think of it as a waste of the goodwill the company has generated in the last few months? The answers to both of those questions are yes, and those answers cannot be ignored. AEW has found itself in a situation where it has reached a high point, only for a bad creative decision to push them back down the hill. AEW All In 2025 does not need to be another one of those moments. This is the night that “Hangman” Adam Page reclaims the AEW World Championship.
