Fightful Select released some interesting news Tuesday evening. Jordynne Grace’s TNA contract is set to expire in January, but she’s not the only member of the household whose time with the company may be coming to an end. Jonathan Gresham is reportedly nearing the end of his contract as well, with Fightful stating it is set to expire in 2025.

Grace has been doing excellent work throughout the year and is consistently one of the top performers in wrestling. So much so, that she was listed as number two in the PWI Women’s 250 list behind none other than Toni Storm. Grace has impressed many with her appearances in WWE, and perhaps that’s a foreshadowing of where Gresham may appear as well. According to Fightful, Gresham has “made good impressions within WWE in the past as well, but we’ve not heard if there’s interest on their side as of yet.”

Gresham is one of the best technical wrestlers in the industry and has a ground-based style that deserves consideration at that level. 2005 will be his 20th year in the business. During that time, he’s performed for several of the top organizations in wrestling such as GCW, All Elite Wrestling, Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and others. From 2008 to 2022 he held at least one championship, showing that he’s a proven top-level talent wherever he performs.

It would be interesting to see Gresham lock horns with some of the best in the WWE. Imagine him sharing the ring again with names like Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne or getting a singles match against Ilja Dragunov or GUNTHER. There’s fun to be had in any of those examples. He could also work well as a trainer and performer in WWE NXT where there are a growing number of young performers who could learn a lot from someone with his wealth of knowledge and experience.

Jonathan Gresham is one of the most underrated performers in the business, seeing how he hasn’t truly had the opportunity to stand at the top of a major promotion. If his time with TNA is up in the next year, and he joins WWE, there’s a lot of opportunity to see him get some of the shine he’s deserved for a long time.
