WWE fans just got teased by Matt Hardy that he and his brother Jeff might return to a main roster pay-per-view before fans even know it.
The Hardy Boyz are, without a doubt, one of the greatest Tag Teams to ever grace Pro Wrestling. If not the greatest, they are certainly one of the most iconic; the Hardy Boyz defined an entire generation of WWE fans.
Currently, Jeff and Matt are the well-deserved TNA World Tag Team Champions. However, in the era of legends bidding farewell to professional wrestling, you can't help but imagine the duo will soon follow suit.
The Hardy Boyz just flirted with WWE fans (yet again)
Speaking to Reel Appreciation, Matt Hardy removed any doubts that The Hardy Boyz would like to spend more time with the WWE universe. He wasn't just talking about showing up with the roster, either; he has his eyes on a pay-per-view event.
In his own words, Matt Hardy said: “I feel very confident you are going to see The Hardy Boyz show up on a main roster show, maybe a main roster pay-per-view, who knows?
Matt Hardy then added to the excitement about TNA being on AMC. The first Thursday night show was successfully broadcast this week.
"Anything can happen now. I think you’re going to see WWE main roster talent, even coming over to TNA now that we’re on AMC. I think it’s a game changer. I think it’s going to make wrestling so much more fun and so much more unpredictable. Wrestling is at its best when it’s unpredictable.”
Nobody could deny the excitement that would be felt if The Hardy Boyz made their much-anticipated return to a WWE main roster pay-per-view. Just hearing that ripple would be enough to get WWE fans out of their seats.
Speaking about getting fans up from their seats, the current RAW Tag Team Champions, The Usos, might see these comments as a chance to finally get their win over The Hardy Boyz. The two brotherly tag teams have only faced off once on live television, in 2019, with The Hardy Boyz being successful that time.
Congrats, @WWEUsos! Well deserved win as you guys absolutely killed it.

Maybe at @WrestleMania, it’s time for The Usos vs The New Day vs The Hardy Boyz in a generational dream match. https://t.co/jXjQOBXiPM
Towards the end of 2025, when The Usos tasted Tag Team gold after beating AJ Styles and Dragon Lee, Matt Hardy congratulated The Usos, but also offered them out.
Matt hinted that it's about time for The Hardy Boyz, The Usos and The New Day to face off at WrestleMania in a 'generational dream match.'
The Hardy Boyz are really knocking on the door for a spot in a main WWE pay-per-view event and, honestly, we're here for it.
This year is one of the hardest WrestleMania cards to predict. You could suggest anything, and it'd be near-impossible to disagree with.
The Hardy Boyz have given more than their fair share to WWE over the years. Jeff and Matt are two of the hardest-working superstars in the label's history, so giving them a shot at WrestleMania is definitely a conversation the higher-ups should be having.
