In the eyes of some, WWE NXT is consistently the best presentation of women’s wrestling in major North American promotions. The show frequently dedicates several matches, segments, and storylines to the ladies on the roster, both in and out of the title picture. One performer who continues to get heavily booked is Jadia Parker. While still new to the industry, she’s someone that many have their eyes on as a potential star for the future.

Jadia Parker is still very new in the industry. According to Cagematch, her official debut was October 28, 2022, and she’s approaching her two-year anniversary in just a few weeks. Within that time, she’s amassed just 45 total matches. But she’s needed such a short time to become one of the featured women in NXT, and rightfully so.

It’s well known that WWE looks for different aspects in a performer before strapping the proverbial rocket to them. Everything that Parker does while in front of the camera fits into what her character is supposed to be. Her facial expressions, character mannerisms, offense, and pacing show that she has a firm understanding of what WWE expects of her when she’s in the spotlight. And she’s delivered when given the opportunity.

Even though she came up on the losing end of her feud with Roxanne Perez, this could be considered a testing out phase for her in the main event. At some point, Parker will be a champion, but the question of when is one that’s hard to pinpoint. With individuals like Giulia, DELTA, and Stephanie Vaquer on their way in, expectations are that they will be central to the women’s division moving forward. Could Parker slide a bit when that happens? Perhaps, but that would be a huge mistake on Shawn Michaels’s part. Perhaps a run as the NXT North American Champion is in the cards. Either way, Parker has the room to grow into a champion of the future.

Many criticize WWE’s practice of bringing in former collegiate or professional athletes to fill out the development roster. But there has been an influx of names that have impressed. Jadia Parker is one of them and she has shown all the growth that she can become a star for the company in the future.
