We've been anticipating chaos within the Judgement Day for quite a while now. There have been teases of turns for at least a year now and while things are in disarray at the moment, this faction has ran WWE Raw for two years and counting. Edge introduced his new stable back in April of 2022, which would welcome Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley soon after. Initially, it took a while for The Judgement Day to click with the WWE Universe. With no reaction from the fans, there was a need for something shocking to occur to bring some excitement to the group, and that ended up being Finn Balor.

From day one, you know the eventual end of The Judgement Day would come down between Balor and Priest. Once Balor kicked out Edge, for a moment he became the leader. The initial prediction was the ego between the two would grow too big for the group, or one would simply outgrow the group. While the excitement grew with the addition of Balor, it all finally came together when Dominik Mysterio betrayed his father to join the faction and become what is today the top heel in the entire company, if not all of professional wrestling.

This night at Clash at the Castle changed the entire tragectery for the next two years on Monday Night Raw. This instantly made the Judgement Day the most hated faction on the brand. Once Dominik Mysterio joined the group, it finally gave the fans a legitimate reason to hate them.

The on-screen relationship between Rhea Ripley and Dirty Dom took over the screen for the next two years. With Mysterio winning his first singles gold by winning the NXT North American Championship, which he held twice. To the contrary, Ripley would win the 2023 Women's Royal Rumble in historic fashion, which led her to also defeating her former nemesis Charlotte Flair last year at WrestleMania 39 for what would become the WWE Women's World Championship.

Just like that, The Judgement Day became the most dominant force on Monday Night Raw. Little did we know, it was only the beginning. Months later, Damian Priest would win The Money In The Bank contract, and shortly after Priest and Balor dethroned Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships. The words from the stable rang clear after this night at WWE Payback. "The Judgement Day runs the WWE," says Priest. "And don't you forget it," Mysterio following suit.

Everything was going their way. Until, Priest successfully cashed-in his Money In The Bank contract at WrestleMania 40 by pinning Drew McIntyre. That would end up becoming the beginning of the end of that era of The Judgement Day. Ripley had already injured her shoulder and forced to vacate her title, Mysterio had long lost his NXT North American title, and the group found some new unwarranted members in JD McDonagh and Carlito.

The fact that The Judgement Day have ran Monday Night Raw for two years and counting has to cement them into the WWE history books as one of the best factions of all-time. Two years later, and the faction now has an entire new look and appears to be new life with the new Women's World Champion Liv Morgan taking Ripley's place. Since claiming her spot in the stable, she has already helped Balor and McDonagh win back the World Tag Team titles, Mysterio finally defeated his hall-of-famer father, and most importantly she defeated Ripley to retain her title at SummerSlam.

As their run continues, it is imperative to commend WWE for what they've been able to accomplish with The Judgement Day after two years after what seemed to be a slow start. Without The Judgement Day, it's hard to imagine what the landscape would be on Raw. All rise, for The Judgement Day.
