WWE Raw is continuing its road to WWE Royal Rumble 2024, which is shaping up with some top candidates like CM Punk and Bayley being potential Rumble winners this year.

On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, three matches have been officially scheduled: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Jinder Mahal for the World Title in the main event, Finn Balor & Mr. MITB Damian Priest (c) vs. Awesome Truth in a Non-Title Tag Team Match, and DIY vs. Dirty Dom & JD McDonagh in a Tag Team Match. The Intercontinental Champion, Gunther, is set to return to Raw after a brief hiatus due to having a baby with his wife, Jinny. Also, Cody Rhodes is set to start the show with a promo, where he will likely talk about his aspirations to finish the story on the road to WrestleMania 40.

In other news regarding WWE Raw, CM Punk let Drew McIntyre know in a jaw-dropping opening segment last week that no one will stop him from winning the Royal Rumble this year. Cody Rhodes finally ended his feud with Shinsuke Nakamura with a definitive victory in the main event of Raw last week. Nia Jax proclaimed her entry into the Royal Rumble and promised Rhea Ripley that she would choose her as her opponent at WrestleMania 40. KC^2 has new number-one contenders in Shayna Baslzer and Zoey Stark. Jey Uso, Bronson Reed, and Ivar are targeting Gunther's IC Title.

With that being said, the following will focus on the three announced matches and the idea of Seth Rollins BURYING Jinder Mahal on the road to WWE Royal Rumble 2024.

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Jinder Mahal [World Title]

Seth Rollins will retain the World Title against Jinder Mahal because not only did Jinder not win any matches to earn this title shot but also Rollins won't be losing his title until WrestleMania 40, where he will battle CM Punk one on one. WWE has done enough teasing between the two superstars to make it quite evident that Rollins will accomplish his dream of walking into Mania as the champion and main-eventing the show for the first time. in a marquee match As unpredictable as Jinder Mahal's track record can be in the world title picture, he won't be stopping Rollins in his tracks here.

Prediction: Seth Rollins

Finn Balor & Mr. MITB Damian Priest (c) vs. Awesome Truth [Non-Title Tag Match]

Judgment Day will defeat Awesome Truth because champions should not lose non-title matches on live television. Although Judgment Day has some dissension, they will still co-exist here. R-Truth is confused as to who he should be loyal to, so he may screw this match up and lead to the loss of his team with The Miz. As much as fans love the nostalgia of Awesome Truth, it seems like it will be short-lived. They will not be the ones to dethrone Judgment Day, and this match is merely a means to plant seeds for R-Truth to eventually screw Judgment Day out of the tag titles when they face DIY.

Prediction: Judgment Day

DIY vs. Dirty Dom & JD McDonagh [Tag Match]

Speaking of DIY, they will defeat the lackeys of Judgment Day, Dirty Dom & JD McDojnagh, to gain some momentum for their inevitable tag title match against Judgment Day at the Royal Rumble. Mr. MITB Damian Priest needs to start carving his path to the world title before his MITB Contract expires. Priest can't win the world title with the tag titles still in his grasp. When Judgment Day loses the tag titles, this will begin a slow build to Mr. MITB Damian Priest battling Finn Balor at WrestleMania whilst DIY focuses on maintaining the prestige of the tag team division.

Prediction: DIY
