Crossovers in professional wrestling are a big deal. It is even more wild when WWE takes part, as the biggest organization in wrestling has typically taken a “isolationist” approach when it comes to wrestling. That’s changed with Triple H in charge, and the latest example occurred on Sunday, December 21 when Ricky Saints popped up in Reality Wrestling to attack Zilla Fatu.
Reality Wrestling is the Houston, Texas based promotion that is run by WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T. Reality Wrestling was one of the first promotions that were designated with the WWE ID tag, further cementing its place as a developmental farm for future WWE stars like Roxanne Perez.
Zilla Fatu is one of those names. With a real name of Isayah Fatu, he is a member of the famed Anoa’i wrestling family as he’s the son of Umaga. Fatu is seen as a major “prospect,” with many long predicting that he’ll end up in the WWE at some point. He’s only 26 years old and in the eyes of some supporters, Zilla Fatu could be the next big name from that family to cement themselves on the WWE roster.
Ricky Saints’s appearance sparks further speculation
Ricky Saints is one of the top names in WWE NXT. He recently dropped the NXT Championship back to Oba Femi and is now in a feud with Je’Von Evans. Seeing him jump to ROW and get into an angle with Zilla Fatu has started speculation that Fatu will follow him to NXT to keep things going. That would be an interesting way to introduce Fatu to the WWE Universe, and set up an angle that can get Saints off of Tuesdays and onto a main roster show.

Saints popped up in ROW to attack Fatu during his match. Saints was already scheduled to be at the event as a special guest, but the surprise was seeing him attack Fatu then unmask in the middle of the ring.
There are no reports about Zilla Fatu making the jump to WWE. However, that will not stop the speculation from growing after this interaction with Ricky Saints. Singing Zilla Fatu would be a big free agency move from WWE and it is one to keep an eye on for 2026.
