Seth Rollins may once again be on the sidelines because of an injury. Several outlets reported on Monday that Rollins potentially suffered an injury during his match with Cody Rhodes at WWE Crown Jewel 2025.

“Seth Rollins looks to have sustained an injury at WWE Crown Jewel,” Fightful Select reported in a post on Monday, October 13. “Rollins was seen backstage and around Australia in a sling after the Crown Jewel match. It’s widely suspected internally that he sustained the injury on the coast-to-coast headbutt and then finished the match.”

When Rollins launched himself across the ring to land the move, he broke his fall with his arm. According to Fightful, the injury was “treated as legitimate internally.” There is no word on the specific details of the injury, as questions arise that either the arm or the shoulder were impacted.

On the October 13 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked Rollins, forcing Paul Heyman to join the movement. Fightful reported that this was a “heavy creative pivot.” Breakker’s split wasn’t expected to occur until sometime in 2026. The idea of that being a major pivot further raises concerns that this may be another serious injury to Rollins, as much of his career has been plagued with physical issues that have cut into his momentum and pushes.

This comes on the heels of the “angle” earlier in the year when Rollins had the Money in the Bank briefcase. He suffered what was an apparent injury during a match with LA Knight, and that kicked off a spiral of events in which WWE attempted to “work” everyone, leading into Rollins cashing in on CM Punk to regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. All eyes will be on the next episode of WWE Raw as all eyes will be on the way the championship situation is handled and if Rollins is involved.
