Seth Rollins and LA Knight were in the middle of a back-and-forth match during WWE Saturday Night's Main Event before Rollins appeared to suffer a legitimate knee injury.

Rollins went for a moonsault and landed on his feet. He immediately clutched at his knee and slid over to the corner. The referee separated Rollins and Knight, while the ringside doctor ran over to check on the former champion. Rollins pulled himself back to his feet and immediately took the BFT from Knight and was pinned to end the match.

Moments after, Wade Barrett expressed concern from the commentary booth as the show cut to commercial. Rollins was helped to the back by ringside officials during the commerical break.

In the hours that followed, multiple outlets reported that sources confirmed Rollins injury to be legitimate.

Seth Rollins suffered a previous knee injury in a similar fashion

Seth Rollins has dealt with several knee injuries in the past. The latest came in a very similar fashion during a match against Jinder Mahal. Rollins went for the same move but came down oddly on Mahal's body, injuring his knee and putting his match against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 39 into question.

Rollins previously had another serious knee injury during a house show match against Kane. Rollins was attempting a reserval into a powerbomb from the top rope, and the landing caused damage to his knee.
