The NXT Tag Team Championship match was a fun romp during NXT Deadline. Fraxiom came out on top, letting everyone know that things are "fine" between Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Even though they came out on top, Tavion Heights but on a show, letting everyone know he's a talent to watch for the future.

Heights has been a name to keep an eye on for a while. WWE recognized such and sent him on an excursion to Japan where he had a series of big matches in NOAH. That standout run should have put him on the radars of everyone tracking the stars for the future, because that's exactly who Heights continues to prove himself to be with performances such as these.

Heights and Myles Borne were unsuccessful in capturing the tag titles, but this was Heights moment to stand out. He remained in the ring for the majority of the 15-minute match, hitting a series of big manuevers. Heights's time as a Greco-Roman wrestler makes him nearly a perfect performer for this iteration of WWE. Not only does he have the skills to put on exciting matches, he has the personality and presentation that will help him stand out as a sports performer.

He hit a series of big throws throughout the match, but with a variety that helps him stand out with a different offense than several of the other former professional grapplers on the roster. That is going to help Heights become a name that causes fans to tune in whenever he's in the ring. As he continues to build that offense, expect his character to continue to develop as well. That is why it's important for him to remain in WWE NXT for at least the next two years. He's only 27 years old, giving WWE plenty of time to continue to build him into a key member of the roster for years to come.

Tavion Heights did not leave NXT Deadline with a tag team title of his own, but he took the opportunity to stand out in his second PLE match. Keep an eye out for this performer, as he has all the tools to be a champion in NXT and a contributing member to any wrestling roster for years to come.
