While all eyes were on Karrion Kross and Scarlett, they were not the only performers whose contracts came to an end on August 10. Ashantee “Thee” Adonis is also no longer with the company, as his contract with WWE has expired.

“After 6 unforgettable years under the WWE lights, the time has come for me to close that chapter,” Adonis, now going by his actual name Tehuti Miles, posted on Twitter. “I’m filled with nothing but gratitude for every opportunity, the experiences, lessons, and incredible talent I’ve had the chance to work with.”

Miles had two separate stints with the WWE. From 2019-2021 he spent most of his time as a part of the faction, Hit Row which was led by Swerve Strickland. That group didn’t have the opportunity to achieve much. After their tenure on WWE NXT, they were moved to SmackDown in October 2021, just to be released a month later in November.

Miles spent some time on the independent circuit, before coming back to WWE in 2022 as a retooled Hit Row. That version of the group had a little more time to work together, before being split once again. Miles worked with Cedric Alexander, another name whose time has recently come to an end with WWE. They both popped up in NXT, where Miles had some time as a frequent on-air character through April 2025.

Miles was removed from television leading into his release weeks later. Fightful Select reported that Miles was informed that his contract would not be renewed. Now that his contract is over, he is free to make bookings immediately. According to that same Fightful report, there are names in TNA Wrestling who would like Miles to be brought in as a part of that roster. Nattie praised Miles for his work effort on social media.

“The work Ashante puts in at The Dungeon every week is inspiring,” Nattie posted on Twitter. “Tehuti Miles is a WORKHORSE. The day he got the call that he was no longer with the company, he came to train with us and gave back to everyone. He always does. He poured his heart out on the mat. Forward is forward.”

It will be interesting to see if Tehuti Miles pops up in another major promotion. When he had the opportunity, he showed some flashes of capable skills in the ring. He could be a good addition to a roster such as TNA Wrestling, helping fill out the midcard with another solid worker.
