WWE Monday Night RAW did not disappoint on Jan. 12. At a special time slot of 2 p.m. ET, fans were already able to put together the pieces of the upcoming Royal Rumble.
The event took place in Düsseldorf, Germany. The main event was Gunther taking on AJ Styles, with two of the best wrestlers in the business putting the icing on the cake of a great event. Side note: Yes, AJ Styles is still somehow aging like fine wine in the ring.
That said, there was one overlooked moment on Monday night (or afternoon, if you insist) that is beginning to make so much more sense in the grand scheme of things.
Bron Breakker suspended from WWE for the most Bron Breakker reason
Bron Breakker, shortly after executing one of the best spears of all time, cornered RAW GM Adam Pearce. The camera angle was perfectly aligned to showcase the visceral emotion in Breakker's tone. He was mad at Pearce, and he wasn't shy to show it.
Backstage, Pearce confronted Breakker again and informed him that he is now suspended as a result of his actions.

The Vision has a pretty obvious heel presence in the WWE right now. You can pretty much guarantee they are first in line to ruin any match. So, any fans who were getting sick of Breakker and his pals might feel like his suspension is a sweet relief ... until they realize why Breakker was suspended.
Bron Breakker suspension opens up an epic WrestleMania card
The Vision has been going after CM Punk, or his World Heavyweight Championship, for as long as he's held it. Just last week, Breakker tried (but failed) to take the gold that he's been craving for the longest time.
It really is no coincidence that on the same night as Breakker got suspended, CM Punk decided on a title defense against Finn Bálor. Breakker won't like Bálor getting the opportunity that should be his, but this feels meticulously planned by WWE.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder. A few weeks out of WWE action will only make the inevitable return of Bron Breakker at the Men's Royal Rumble even more exciting.
Like he wasn't hungry enough already, the Doberman will come back with his stomach rumbling for Punk's Heavyweight Championship, if he still has it around his waist by then.
Breakker's suspension doesn't rule him out of the World Heavyweight Championship picture, it justifies his place in the race. Whether he's fighting CM Punk or Finn Bálor for the gold, we could be looking at an early WrestleMania card contender right there. And honestly, Breakker deserves it.
