WWE Evolution 2025 is an all-women's PLE utilized to celebrate the women's revolution in pro wrestling. For years, the women in the WWE have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to how much time they receive for segments and matches. They even had restricted creative freedom for their characters in an industry dominated by men. This PLE will be an opportunity for them to prove to the world that they deserve even more spotlight in the future. The following will pontificate predictions for this PLE that is making its return from its debut in 2018 and competing with AEW All In on July 13, 2025.
Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Bianca Belair [WWE Title]
Tiffany Stratton has been running out of credible threats to challenge her for the title on SmackDown, as WWE has fallen into the trap of repeating her feud with Nia Jax after defeating Charlotte Flair at Mania. Since Jade Cargill became the Queen of the Ring and earned her title shot at SummerSlam, WWE needs one more challenge for Stratton at Evolution before she battles Cargill. Bianca Belair is the best option because it would tease the idea of Belair vs. Cargill for the title with Naomi as Ms. MITB. However, Naomi will screw Bianca in this title match for betraying their friendship.
Prediction: Tiffany Stratton
Judgment Day (c) vs. Bella Twins vs. Kabuki Warriors [Tag Titles]
The original plan seemed to be for Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to defend their titles against the Bella Twins. However, since Liv is injured, it seems that Roxanne Perez will take her spot to help Raquel defend those belts due to her association with Judgment Day. Kabuki Warriors could also be included here, as they have been battling Judgment Day in singles matches for weeks. Bella Twins will take the titles home here, as they came back full-time for good reason, and it would be a moment that creates buzz, especially since they are an established team who have never won the tag titles before.
Prediction: Bella Twins
Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss [Personal Rivalry]
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss have been teasing a tag team for weeks. It seems that Alexa Bliss is eager to team with Charlotte, whilst Charlotte is reluctant to do so. Before they ever become a tag team, it is likely they will settle any lingering beef they have in a singles contest. They will likely beat the respect out of each other to the point that they decide to form a team after going to war. They are surely two forces to be reckoned with in the women's division, so it should not be surprising to see them become future tag team champions this summer, even as early as SummerSlam itself.
Prediction: Charlotte Flair
Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Bayley [IC Title]
After Becky Lynch cost Bayley her spot at WrestleMania by attacking her backstage and returned to win the tag titles with Lyra Valkyria just to betray her afterwards, the writing was on the wall for a triple threat match to take place amongst these women for the IC Title. Since Lyra recently lost the title to Becky, she won't win the title back right away. Bayley is the right woman to dethrone Becky from a storyline standpoint and will get her revenge on Becky eventually, but it is too early to end Becky's title reign, as she needs at least 1 successful PPV title defense before dropping it.
Prediction: Becky Lynch
Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Jordynne Grace [NXT Women's Title]
Jacy Jayne is a paper champ in every sense of the word. It was baffling to see her dethrone Stephanie Vaqeur when she was originally treated as merely a lackey for Fallon Henley's faction in NXT. If anything, Jordynne Grace should have dethroned Vaquer at NXT Battleground before Vaquer got called up. That would have set up a bigger match between Jordynne Grace and Blake Monroe for the NXT Title here. However, since the card is left with this downgrade, Jordynne Grace will obviously win the title unless Blake Monroe dethrones Jacy Jayne at NXT Great American Bash the day before.
Prediction: Jordynne Grace
Guilia (c) vs. Chelsea Green vs. Zelina Vega [U.S. Title]
Guilia recently dethroned Zelina Vega on SmackDown this past Friday. Since Zelina dethroned Chelsea and Guilia dethroned Zelina thereafter, it is likely that WWE will put all of them in a triple threat match for the title. Zelina and Chelsea still have unfinished business, and they'll both want a rematch for the U.S. Title. This will merely solidify Guilia's title reign before she moves on to new challengers. There is neither much prestige to this title nor important storytelling being told here, so there's hope that WWE will turn things around with Guilia as the champion this summer.
Prediction: Guilia
Women's Battle Royal [Winner Earns Future World Title Shot]
At Evolution in 2018, Nia Jax was the woman who won a battle royal to earn a future world title shot. This year, it is likely that WWE will host another women's battle royal with a similar stipulation. Since Stephanie Vaquer is a rising prospect who has no specific storyline direction this summer, she would be a solid candidate to win the battle royal. Vaquer has a ton of experience in her NXT world title matches, and she feels so natural in the main event scene despite being in WWE for only a short period of time. It would a solid callback if she eliminates Nia Jax at the last minute to win this match.
Prediction: Stephanie Vaquer
Jade Cargill vs. Naomi [Personal Rivalry]
Jade Cargill and Naomi still have unfinished business from WrestleMania, so they will likely have their rematch here. Clearly, this won't be 50-50 booking. Jade Cargill has to win the rematch, as she needs to continue her momentum as the new Queen of the Ring on the road to her title match against Tiffany Stratton at SummerSlam. Naomi can afford a loss here, as it would not harm her status as the MITB Briefcase Holder. Besides, Naomi can always get her revenge by cashing in on Jade Cargill at SummerSlam once Cargill dethrones Stratton. Either way, both women will benefit in the long run.
Prediction: Queen Jade Cargill
Iyo Sky (c) vs. Rhea Ripley [World Title]
The main event of this PLE will involve a long-term rivalry between two women who have known each other back to front ever since their time in NXT. In fact, there is an interesting statistic about their track record, as Rhea Ripley has never defeated Iyo Sky in one on one competition. After Iyo dethroned Ripley just 5-6 weeks before WrestleMania, that had to strike a nerve. To create buzz on a special night, Ripley has to turn heel and earn her first victory over Iyo Sky to win her title back, especially since WWE has been booking Iyo Sky as an afterthought who has not defended the title since Mania.
Prediction: Rhea Ripley
