When WWE announced its WWE ID program, there was a lot of speculation and discourse across the wrestling community. Fans, wrestlers, and media members alike saw it as a move for WWE to lock in talent to deals while draining resources from the independent scene. While that hasn’t happened, yet, nothing truly has come from the ID program. However, WWE has found some interesting talent and one is Jack Cartwheel, a performer who fans invested in the independent scene will know. A performer with the potential to be a huge star in the future.
While Jack Cartwheel may be a WWE ID talent, he’s not new to the business. According to Cagematch, he has six years of experience. And in those six years he’s performed around the world, stepping into the ring for some of the biggest promotions in the business.

Since his debut in 2019, Jack Cartwheel has performed in AAA, All Elite Wrestling, GCW, Ring of Honor, MLW, and several other top promotions. Along the way he’s shared the ring with performers like El Hijo de Vikingo, Speedball Mike Bailey, Lio Rush, Dragon Lee, Nick Wayne, and plenty of other names fans will recognize. Cartwheel isn’t new to this at all and he’s someone that WWE should get onto the main roster sooner, rather than later.
Jack Cartwheel is a highlight-reel meant for the WWE main roster
Every week it seems like there’s a new highlight from Jack Cartwheel popping up on social media. Sports entertainment and professional wrestling are built on these types of moments, and Cartwheel is amassing even more in his catalog. Imagine what he could do with the big lights presentation available on weekly shows like Monday Night Raw or SmackDown.
One major complaint about the main roster is that the men's division has grown stagnant. The majority of the men in the main event picture are at least 40 years old and it is seemingly harder for younger talent to break through. Bron Breakker is the only name available who is in his 20s and standing firm at the top of the card on a consistent basis. Fans are looking to individuals like Je’Von Evans to shake that up, but WWE is known for taking the long route more often than not. Jack Cartwheel should be a name included in those discussions. To make that happen, WWE needs to get him on television more often.
WWE needs to add some youth to its men’s division on both SmackDown and Monday Night Raw. There’s a wealth of talent in the development program. Jack Cartwheel is someone who stands out among the pack. WWE needs to make the move to get him on the main roster and in front of the most fans as possible.
