NXT Heatwave is this Sunday in Lowell, Massachusetts, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium, and WWE has confirmed five matches for this event. Three of these matches are major title matches, one is a number one contender's match, and the biggest feature of this PPV is the most epic rivalry in the NXT Women's Division between Blake Monroe and Jordynne Grace, which will most likely headline the show. With that being said, it is now time for the highly anticipated NXT Heatwave 2025 Predictions, where Blake Monroe will embarrass Jordynne Grace in the main event.
Blake Monroe vs. Jordynne Grace [Personal Rivalry]
This feud is the best thing going in NXT right now, bar none. Clearly, these women are top contenders to become future NXT World Champion. In fact, this should have been the World Title Match because Jacy Jayne is undoubtedly a paper champ. At Evolution, Blake Monroe turned heel by betraying Grace's trust and screwing her in her world title match against Jacy Jayne. Grace is now out for revenge, and Monroe is here to make a statement in her debut. To protect Grace in defeat, Monroe will nefariously win this match and set up a triple threat title match with Jayne at a future date.
Prediction: Blake Monroe
Oba Femi vs. Je'Von Evans [NXT World Title]
NXT planted some seeds for Je'Von Evans to be the underdog David who eventually takes down the monstrous Goliath in Oba Femi at some point for the NXT Title. They planted those seeds at NXT Deadline last year, in which Evans was close to becoming Iron Survivor before Femi snatched the victory and they did the same in a triple threat match with Trick Williams at NXT Stand and Deliver, in which Evans got pinned by Femi. However, Evans has constantly been a loser in the mid card as well and thereby does not have sufficient credibility to dethrone the indomitable champion.
Prediction: Oba Femi
Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice [NXT World Title #1C Match]
It is a tad questionable as to why two tier main event players in Blake Monroe and Jordynne Grace are battling in the main event of this PLE and they are not even the number one contender's match for the World Title, especially when those two individuals were directly involved in the NXT World Title Match with Jacy Jayne and Fatal Influence at Evolution. This triple threat match is quite meaningless because it contains mid carders who don't stand a chance of being world champ right now. This is merely filler to give Jacy an easy future retention before she loses the title to either Monroe or Grace.
Prediction: Lola Vice
Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Masha Slamovich vs. Ash by Elegance [TNA World Title]
TNA is not a product that is worth watching habitually, but WWE is trying very hard to assure that eyes are on that product by filling TNA World Title matches with their renowned talent. Jacy Jayne is not necessarily a renowned talent who moves the needle, as she had absolutely zero momentum before dethroning Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT World Title. However, it seems that WWE has decided to abruptly push Jacy Jayne to the top in an attempt to hide the gaps in their poorly booked division. She'll keep her momentum going here before dropping either title as a transitional champ.
Prediction: Jacy Jayne
Hank & Tank (c) vs. Dark State [NXT Tag Team Championships]
Hank and Tank had an uneventful tag title reign, and Dark State has been consistently wreaking havoc on NXT in ways that are reminiscent of the Nexus and Retribution. They have also already defeated top caliber talent in Oba Femi, Je'Von Evans, Moose, and Trick Williams in six-man and eight-man tag matches. In order to fully solidify the faction, it is best for Dark State to win tag gold or else none of the fans will take the faction seriously. Furthermore, NXT has such an egregiously booked tag division that it needs a faction like Dark State to stir the pot and shock the system.
Prediction: Dark State
