WWE Raw is fresh off an "epic" Raw, where the fans witnessed Bron Breakker cut the promo of his career on CM Punk. It's only a matter of time until he destroys all of CM Punk's friends, especially Main Event Jey Uso, who is trying to carve his own path to the title picture and stay far away from Vision shenanigans. However, the biggest talking point in the IWC is who was that hooded assailant who screwed CM Punk in that War Games Match. Austin Theory seems to be the answer, as he was a long term plan to be in the Vision due to his prior association with Seth Rollins in 2020.
WWE is on the road to John Cena's last match at SNME in Washington D.C. on December 13. The "Last Time Is Now" Tournament has wrapped up with Gunther as the winner and the one who will retire John Cena in his last match. He will cut the promo of his life on Cena to kick off the show. In other news, Penta is cleared to return. This week on Raw, two matches have been officially scheduled: AJ Styles & Dragon Lee (c) vs. War Raiders for the Tag Titles and Rey Mysterio vs. Finn Balor in an Grudge Match. Without further ado, here are the official Raw Predictions for Dec 8, 2025.
AJ Styles and Dragon Lee (c) vs. War Raiders [World Tag Title Match]
War Raiders have a rematch clause for the tag titles ever since losing them to The New Day at Mania this year. Dragon Styles want to be fighting champs, so they asked Adam Pearce for another title match and got this one. It's unfortunate that there is no storyline between the teams in the division. It comes across as lazy booking when there are just random title matches and open challenges without any meaning behind them. This is the same issue Dragunov has as the U.S. Champ on SmackDown. Brons will inevitably dethrone Dragon Styles. Until then, Dragon Styles will run through the division.
Prediction: Dragon Styles
Rey Mysterio vs. Finn Balor [Exhibition Match]
Rey Mysterio should win here, as he already defeated JD McDonagh in the Judgment Day and Finn Balor is merely another stepping stone towards an IC Title match against his son, Dirty Dom. However, Logan Paul could cost Rey the match, as he addressed Rey Mysterio last week in a backstage segment and made fun of his height by saying that he is 6 foot 3 inches while Mysterio is 3 foot 6 inches and has no business targeting the IC Title, as the IC Title belongs to the Vision. This could be used as a means to stretch out Rey Mysterio vs. Dirty Dom to WrestleMania 42 in April.
