WWE is on the road to John Cena's last match at SNME in Washington D.C. on December 13. The "Last Time Is Now" Tournament has wrapped up and Cena suggested that there be an NXT Showcase at the event as well. The matches currently scheduled for this SNME are: Gunther vs. John Cena in a Retirement Match, Bayley vs. Sol Ruca, and Cody Rhodes (c) vs. the winner of the NXT Title Match between Ricky Saints and Oba Femi at NXT Deadline. WWE has one week to add more matches to the card. With that being said, here are the official SNME Predictions for December 13, 2025.
John Cena vs. Gunther [Retirement Match]
John Cena cannot win his last match on his way out, as that would be a massive mistake. WWE cannot build tomorrow by constantly retreating to yesterday. Gunther has the credibility and momentum a rising star should have when taking the mantle away from a legendary veteran. Anyone who has a problem with this and would prefer someone like Edge, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, or The Rock to retire Cena should reevaluate what they think the future of pro wrestling should look like.
Prediction: Gunther
Kabuki Warriors (c) vs. Fatal Influence [Women's Tag Titles]
Kabuki Warriors are preoccupied with all the tag teams on the main roster, but they should also be focused on the teams in NXT since the tag titles are co-branded. Due to this being a WWE vs. NXT Showcase, Kabuki Warriors should defend the titles against NXT's top team in Fatal Influence. It would be a good showcase for the NXT Women's Champ, Jacy Jayne, and the new Speed Champ, Fallon Henley. Kabuki Warriors will still retain the gold, as they have a bigger story with Rhiyo.
Prediction: Kabuki Warriors
Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Oba Femi [U.S. Title Open Challenge]
As a consolation prize for taking two unnecessary losses to Ricky Saints in NXT, Oba Femi can answer a U.S. Title Open Challenge by Ilja Dragunov and win the title for his first night on the main roster. Dragunov has had bangers with the U.S. Title, but his title run has not measured up to Sami Zayn's title reign and has gone stale without any storyline potential. It's time for a title change, and SNME is a great stage to execute that and add more importance to a new star being born.
Prediction: Oba Femi
Bayley vs. Sol Ruca [WWE vs. NXT Showcase]
Bayley is finally on a big event after missing WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series. It's about time she gets the respect she deserves, as she will undoubtedly make the rising star, Sol Ruca, look like a million bucks in this match. Since Bayley is focused on the tag division with Lyra Valkyria and Sol Ruca is on the climb to becoming a singles star, it is likely that Ruca will get the big win here over the veteran as a solidifed way to leveage her push for the main roster in the near future.
Prediction: Sol Ruca
Cody Rhodes vs. Ricky Saints [WWE vs. NXT Showcase]
Cody Rhodes will likely battle Ricky Saints at this event, as it is expected that Saints will retain the title against Femi at NXT Deadline before Femi gets officially called up to the main roster. There is no storyline here, but these two have AEW history that they can capitalize on. This is a must-win for Rhodes and a must-rub for Saints, as it would be a bad look for the up and coming NXT Champ to defeat the WWE Champ and face of the WWE on the main roster. This could steal the show.
Prediction: Cody Rhodes
