Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair have one of the hottest programs entering WrestleMania 41 weekend, all fueled by a SmackDown segment that was so personal that fans are convinced it was a shoot.
While Stratton is the fan-favorite entering the matchup, she shouldn't be the eventual winner. The following will provide three reasons Charlotte Flair should dethrone Tiffany Stratton in what should be a controversial title match.
Why Charlotte Flair should dethrone Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 41:
Charlotte Flair needs to stat-pad her title reigns
Whenever Charlotte Flair returns from injury or vacation, her gimmick as the "nepotistic queen" requires her to win everything upon return.
This includes the Royal Rumble, which she already won, and will include the World Title at Mania. The idea of Charlotte being handed everything on a silver platter is what angers the fans to the point that she can no longer return to being a babyface.
She already has fourteen title reigns that no one remembers. However, it does not matter how memorable they were in the grand scheme of things. All that matters is the numbers, and the numbers don't lie.
Tiffany Stratton was prematurely pushed and has failed to deliver
Tiffany Stratton just got called up from NXT in 2024. Although she was NXT Champ, the main roster is a different beast and it was way too early for her to win MITB and become World Champ this year.
Stratton did give Charlotte a wake-up call, but her inexperience still shows. She is still too green and is not seasoned enough to be in this spotlight or even be in consideration to defeat a 14-time World Champ like Charlotte. Granted, it is important to push young talent and rising stars, but there is a certain threshold that must be met or else the value of beating those established stars will diminish.
Charlotte Flair winning allows her to properly capitalize on the heat from this feud
Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton absolutely killed the hype for their title match on the road to Mania due to their award promo battles, wacky shenanigans, and unprofessional shoots at each other.
However, it is also safe to say that this storyline got so bad that it became good, as it seems that WWE converted those shoots into works to garner some buzz around this feud that originally had no sufficient heat between the contestants. Although she has been doing a poor job at this so far, Charlotte can capitalize on this heat as a heel more than Stratton can do as a face post-Mania.
