Goldust vs. Alberto Del Rio/Goldust and Cody Rhodes in-ring w/ Renee Young

Goldust got the win over Del Rio with the Final Cut, less than 24 hours after Del Rio beat Cody on Raw. As a result, Cody hopped on the apron when the match was over and hesitated to clap, but eventually did.

Renee asked Goldust is the Rhodes brothers’ recent string of singles matches is a sign that they are headed their separate ways, but Goldust shot down that idea from Renee, who he referred to as “Nay-Nay”. Renee then asked Cody if he was proud of his brother’s win, and Cody got offended and asked Renee if she thinks Goldust is better than him. Goldust had to calm Cody down, and Cody apologized to Renee and said that he is very prod of his brother. These guys are clearly heading for a breakup, but with The Real Americans already doing that, what’s the rush to have two breakup storylines going on at once.

Paige vs. Alicia Fox

Paige was holding Fox in her arms, with Fox’s legs around Paige’s waist. Paige then hit a DDT from this position for the win. Good match. Probably the most offense Paige has gotten in a match since joining the main roster.

After the match, Paige was standing on the stage holding the title, when Tamina Snuka came out and the two stared each other down.

Sheamus w/ Renee Young

Renee asked Sheamus if he is concerned at all about his match with Bray Wyatt after what he did on Raw. Sheamus said that he grew up surrounded by spooky things, and once you get past that, the Wyatts are just bullies. This is terrible. This is not how people should be speaking about The Wyatt Family. Sheamus shouldn’t be terrified, but he shouldn’t act like the Wyatts are standard bullies either. There is nobody like Bray Wyatt and everybody needs to start acting that way.

Bad News Barrett promo/Kofi Kingston vs. Bad News Barrett

Barrett again attacked Big E’s ability to be a champion, and said he had no personality.

The match went to the outside, and Kingston went for his leaping clothesline off the steps, but Barrett hit the Bad News Bullhammer and got the win. Pretty short match. Barrett is probably more ready to be a champion now than he ever has been.

Bray Wyatt vs. Sheamus

After a long, physical, back-and-forth match, and with the help of some distractions from Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, Bray Wyatt hit Sister Abigail for the win. After the match, the Wyatts beat Sheamus down, until The Usos made the save and cleared the ring. Really good match. Sheamus and Bray are both big, physical guys, but they’re also really athletic, and they showed that off really well in this match.

Overall Impression

Good show. All the matches were quick, except the main event. We got some good build for the Intercontinental and Divas Championship matches. Young stars like Paige exploded on the scene at WrestleMania XXX and the night after on Raw, Extreme Rules is going to be a good barometer for just how much that’s going to continue.
