The Authority promo

“It’s a good night to be right”. That’s what Triple H had to say before Stephanie McMahon introduced a video of Daniel Bryan’s doctor announcing that he will be unable to compete at Money in the Bank. Stephanie then announced that Bryan has been stripped of the title. Stephanie said that Bryan was hearing this news for the first time, because her assistant tried to reach out to Bryan, but could not get in contact with him.

Stephanie then announced that, as she said last week, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship would be on the line in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. She said that Alberto Del Rio would still be in the match, after his qualifying match win last week. Triple H announced that Randy Orton was added to the match for “being who he is”.

Triple H then refocused on Bryan, saying he’s proven that he’s not WWE World Heavyweight Championship “material”. He called WrestleMania a fluke, and said that Bryan has proven he doesn’t have what it takes.

Triple H then talked about The Shield, he said Seth Rollins adapted, and now The Shield will perish as they have to find a third man to help them take on The Wyatt Family in a six-man tag match. He said that The Shield have made a lot of enemies, and they probably won’t find a partner. He told the audience to pull out their cell phones to capture history, as The Shield ceases to exist.

What an amazing promo. Bryan just regained his momentum without being in the building because of how good this was. Triple H also did a good job of setting up The Shield’s night, not just in their match with The Wyatt Family, but the promo that they would have as well.
