What would happen on Wednesday night’s episode of WWE NXT with TakeOver: San Antonio fallout?

On Wednesday night, the latest episode of WWE NXT would take place. This didn’t come from Full Sail University, as a show would be filmed before NXT TakeOver: San Antonio, last Saturday.

This NXT episode would recap everything that happened at TakeOver. From Bobby Roode defeating Shinsuke Nakamura, to Asuka retaining the NXT Women’s Championship, all the matches were analyzed and interviews that went up on WWE’s social media pages were aired.

As for the in-ring action, there would be three matches. None of them pushed forward a storyline, but one of them did conclude a mini-rivalry that took place over the past few weeks.

The first match would see Ember Moon and Aliyah collide. The former Athena hasn’t lost since debuting in NXT in 2016, and looked to carry her momentum into San Antonio. She also had called out Asuka for a title match beforehand, so would this be addressed?

We had a special showcase match take place with WWE United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate in action. This would be his first match on WWE programming since winning the belt two weeks ago. Could he defeat NXT star Oney Lorcan?

The main event of this WWE NXT taping saw No Way Jose and Elias Samson continue their feud that started at Full Sail. Would the Drifter be able to manage a win?

Follow along with our review of NXT as we dive into the first show on the show to Orlando!
