WWE WrestleMania 33: List of Andre the Giant Battle Royal Entrants
Who is in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33?
At WrestleMania 33, we will see the fourth annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal take place. This match is done in honor of Andre the Giant, who was one of WWE’s greatest Superstars to step foot in a ring.
In 2014, this battle royal was introduced for WrestleMania 30. This saw Cesaro win, receive a trophy and have one of his best moments since joining the WWE earlier this decade. Big Show and Baron Corbin would follow him up with wins in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Show got his long-awaited battle royal win and Corbin’s came in his WWE main roster debut.
For the WrestleMania 33 Andre, as of Sunday morning, there are 25 confirmed entrants from Raw, SmackDown and NXT. For the first time, there are multiple stars from WWE’s developmental system competing in this, including one who has never appeared on programming before. These competitors, and others, can be seen below, via WWE’s website:
- Sami Zayn
- Braun Strowman
- Goldust
- R-Truth
- Curtis Axel
- Dolph Ziggler
- Jey Uso
- Jimmy Uso
- Chad Gable
- Jason Jordan
- Primo
- Epico
- Bo Dallas
- Jinder Mahal
- Rhyno
- Heath Slater
- Apollo Crews
- Mojo Rawley
- Big Show
- Curt Hawkins
- Tyler Breeze
- Fandango
- Tian Bing
- Mark Henry
- Killian Dain
Bing is the previously-noted NXT talent that hasn’t appeared on TV. He is the WWE’s first-ever Chinese Superstar, so this will be a landmark moment in the company’s history.
The names that will stick out here are Big Show, Braun Strowman and Sami Zayn. They should each have a strong run in the battle royal, potentially being the final three remaining. Maybe, we see Strowman and Zayn recreate their feud from 2016 and brawl as the final two.
These 25 competitors will be seen in the WrestleMania Kickoff Show. Who will walk out as the winner of this match?
