WWE Money In The Bank Results: Randy Orton Wins WWE Title Shot

The main event was the Money in the Bank match for the WWE Title shot.

Rob Van Dam entered the ring first and received the biggest pop of the night, though, CM Punk’s pop was a close second.

After Christian, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Sheamus, and CM Punk entered the ring; the match began.

The participants attacked Van Dam and Sheamus before CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were eventually the last ones remaining in the ring. The two proceeded to go back and forth.

Van Dam entered the ring shortly thereafter and began to clear the ring of the participants.

As Van Dam was going for the five-star frog splash on Orton, Christian hit Van Dam in the back with a ladder. Van Dam fell outside of the ring and Christian began attacking Orton with the ladder.

Christian’s attempt at climbing the ladder for the briefcase was rebuffed by a Sheamus attack.

The two proceeded to go back and forth resulting in Sheamus hitting Christian with the ladder.

Van Dam hit the positioned ladder while Sheamus was attempting to grab the briefcase.

Sheamus and Van Dam proceeded to go back and forth until Sheamus got the upper-hand.

Sheamus and Daniel Bryan began to battle outside of the ring, while Punk and Orton were battling in the ring until Christian attacked both of them.

What proceeded was a scene that saw all six participants atop two ladders reaching for the briefcase. That resulted in all six superstars crashing down to the ring.

Sheamus got to his feet first and managed to lay out all five participants.

While attempting to climb the ladder and reach for the briefcase, RVD ran into the ladder and then a brogue kick by Sheamus.

Sheamus and Bryan then battled atop the ladder.

As Sheamus had the briefcase in grasp, Punk threw the Celtic Warrior to the ground.

Punk proceeded to hit the running knee on Sheamus.

Punk was then attacked by Orton. The two exchanged series of punches until Orton suplexed Punk onto the ladder.

Orton then hit a DDT on Punk.

Christian then hit a spear on Orton and proceeded to climb up the ladder. Van Dam then hit Christian with a ladder resulting in Christian falling to the ring. The two proceeded to go back and forth. The two continued their battle atop the ladder. The ladder fell resulting in Christian falling to the ground and Van Dam jumping on a second ladder. Van Dam then hit the five-star frog splash on Christian.

Sheamus then pushed the ladder down as Van Dam was attempting to reach for the briefcase.

Bryan then entered the ring and delivered a series of kicks to Van Dam and Christian.

Bryan then launched a series of attacks on the five other participants until Curtis Axle came ringside and attacked Bryan.

Punk then hit the GTS on Axle.

Punk gingerly approached the ladder and began climbing. That is when Paul Heyman launched a ladder into Punk multiple times.

Van Dam then entered the ring and began to climb the ladder. Orton entered the ring and pushed the ladder and hit the RKO on Van Dam as he was falling.

That led Orton to being the only superstar on his feet. Orton proceeded to climb the ladder and grab the Money in the Bank contract for the WWE Title.
