Daniel Bryan, Christian and Sheamus vs. The Shield

At the end, Sheamus accidentally hit a Brogue Kick on Christian, then Reigns speared him, and Ambrose got the pin on Christian for the win.

Zeb brings Vickie a box of chocolates, but Vickie doesn’t buy it and asks what he wants. Zeb says he wants a Intercontinental Title match for Jack Swagger. Vickie puts Jack in a #1 contender’s Fatal-4 Way match against Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston and Mark Henry.

My Take: It was The Shield in a six-man tag match, we all know it was amazing.

Purely based on this segment, I think Vickie and Zeb could have a great love story.

Cesaro w/ Byron Saxton

Byron asks Cesaro is he is excited for the Elimination Chamber match. So Cesaro asks Byron if he thinks Cesaro can leave the Chamber as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but he doesn’t let him answer. Cesaro knows that Byron, like the rest of the world, doesn’t think he can win. He then says he will win his match tonight with Randy Orton, and then he will be excited for the Chamber match.

My Take: Cesaro is getting so much better at playing the character. He’s not relying on yodeling, or speaking five different languages, the way he is now feels so much more natural.

Jack Swagger vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Mark Henry vs. Kofi Kingston (Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Match)

A lot of really good action in this match. Swagger gets the win with the Patriot Lock, making Kofi tap out.

My Take: Really good match here from all four men. Swagger and Big E should have a very good match at Elimination Chamber.

Bad News Barrett promo

Barrett’s got some bad news. He talks about women getting fat from eating candy on Valentine’s Day.

My Take: This gimmick is horrifyingly bad, who is finding this funny?

Cody Rhodes, Goldust and The Usos vs. The New Age Outlaws and Rybaxel/Randy Orton w/ Renee Young

Jimmy Uso hits a top rope splash on Road Dogg for the win.

Renee asks Orton if he thinks he’s been treated unfairly going into the Elimination Chamber. Orton says he realizes that everything The Authority has done is to help him, not hurt him. The Authority wants The Viper, and that’s what Cesaro is going to get.

My Take: Tag team wrestling in WWE has been fantastic recently, and this one did not disappoint.

Orton is in the best heel run of his career, it’s a shame he’s doing it against Daniel Bryan, because nobody’s noticing.

Alexander Rusev and Lana vignette/Darren Young vs. Damien Sandow/Titus O’Neil Attack

A vignette airs for the Bulgarian NXT star and his manager.

Titus is on commentary for this match. Young picked up a very quick victory and was attacked from behind by Titus. Young ended up getting the upper-hand and destroying Titus’ suit.

My Take: These vignettes are perfect. I’m not a Rusev fan, but they fit his character perfectly.

Titus was hilarious on commentary. I never thought they would take Young seriously, but they are and this feud could be very interesting.

The Miz vs. Fandango

Emma and Santino Marella come down during the match. Emma brawls with Summer Rae. While the ref is distracted, Santino hits Fandango with the cobra, and Miz catches him and hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the win.

My Take: This was a feud continuing match. If they do this right, Emma will go over on Summer, Fandango will go over Santino, and Summer goes over by being with Fandango. So all the young people get what they need out of this feud.

Randy Orton vs. Cesaro

Cesaro defeats Orton with The Neutralizer.

My Take: I can’t believe Cesaro picked up the victory. Huge win for the wrestler formerly known as Antonio.

Overall Impression

Good show. WWE has to stop putting their best effort out on Friday night when they only have one-fourth of the audience compared to Monday Night Raw. Interesting that in their preview, WWE advertised a match for Eva Marie, but it didn’t make it to air. That probably helped the show, but I think it would have been good anyway.
