Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio/Randy Orton and Batista promo
Batista’s music is blasting, clearly to mask the poor crowd reaction. There were reports of this last night, but it was so much more obvious tonight. The match wasn’t terrible. Del Rio is very good in the ring, plus Batista showed less ring rust in this one. The ending seemed as if they were trying to get heat on Orton and sympathy for Batista, but that clearly didn’t work on the crowd.
The promo was very good, if it sets up a Batista heel turn later tonight. If that promo didn’t set anything up, then it was awfully generic and awfully awful.
