Stephanie McMahon, Kane and The Shield backstage
Stephanie is trying to resolve the issues between Kane and The Shield. She says she doesn’t care what happened between the two sides. She then turns to Kane and says she doesn’t care what happened to his brother. The Shield then mocks Kane, because The New Age Outlaws aren’t with him. Stephanie then calms down both sides, before screaming at them to get them to unite behind a common cause. Stephanie asks if she makes herself clear, Kane quietly says “yes,” while The Shield responds with a reluctant “crystal.” Excellent again, Stephanie is spectacular.
Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Daniel Bryan comes out, but Batista and Randy Orton soon follow, with no music. Orton hits the RKO; Batista hits the Batista Bomb, then out comes Kane, who hits a chokeslam. Triple H makes his entrance and stands over Bryan, before going to pick Bryan up for a Pedigree. The Shield then makes their entrance to a “Hounds of Justice” chant, and have a standoff with Kane, Orton and Batista, with Triple H standing in the middle. Both sides climb in the ring, but Triple H keeps the peace, before Reigns spears him. The Shield takes out Kane, Orton and Batista, before going to hover around Triple H. Triple H calms them down, before taking a Knee Plus from a recovered Bryan. The Authority retreats as Bryan and The Shield stand tall. The idea of this feud was amazing, then I heard the War Games rumors. For the record, War Games or not, I would be totally fine with this eight-man tag taking the place of a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at a pay-per-view like Extreme Rules.
