Stephanie McMahon and Daniel Bryan promo/Paige vs. Brie Bella for the Divas Championship

Stephanie called Daniel Bryan out, and he came out, without the belts, accompanied by his wife, Brie Bella. Bryan asked her what the point of this was. He said that Stephanie is full of it, and asked her how she thinks Brie felt watching Bryan get beatdown all those weeks when The Authority was out of control. Stephanie admitted that they were out of control and apologized for that and for Kane’s beatdown of Bryan last week. Bryan refused to accept Stephanie’s apology, so she gave Brie a Divas Championship match against Paige. Bryan didn’t want to accept at first, but did when Stephanie said she didn’t mind if Bryan was at ringside during the match.

During the match, Kane came up from under the ring and tried to drag Brie down with him, but Bryan saved her. Kane made a few attempts at this, fending off Bryan in the process. Eventually he chokeslammed Bryan and got a hold of Brie, but she kicked herself free and got away. Paige was looking to bring new life to the Divas Division, but WWE just minimized her faster than I could even realize it while it was happening. Unbelievable.

The trainer and Brie were tending to Bryan when Stephanie walked in. Stephanie was almost in tears as she apologized to Bryan. Bryan again wasn’t buying it. Stephanie asked the trainer if Bryan would be cleared for Extreme Rules, but Bryan answered and said he would be there. Brie then yelled at Stephanie and said “Get out, you bitch.”
