WWE: 5 Wrestlers Most In Need of a Gimmick Change

The Mexican aristocrat used to be one of my favorite characters because he had a handful of natural storylines set up for him. As the rich snob who turns his nose up at people, he had perfect feuds against any other Hispanic wrestler, any wrestler that fights “for the people” and he had the power of booking behind him. Unfortunately, that was years ago.

As it turned out, the worst thing they could have done to Del Rio was have him turn face with the title. His run essentially ended because people just couldn’t get behind him. The key Latin demographic is still in love with Rey Mysterio Jr. and didn’t buy into Del Rio as their champ. He needs a total overhaul (not the Kerwin White makeover, either).
