WWE: 5 Wrestlers Most In Need of a Gimmick Change

RANDY ORTON
There’s no question for me — Orton has been my favorite wrestler over the past decade. With that said, if I watch Orton from five years ago alongside Orton today, I’ll be hard pressed to find many differences. He’s been effective, which is why WWE isn’t going out of their way to change him, but he’s just become that “Joe Friday” wrestler that comes out, does his job (well) and goes away.
He’s lost a lot of his luster as a heel because of the fact he’s been buried under HHH’s wing. It looked like that storyline was trending towards a place where Orton could defeat HHH (perhaps at WrestleMania) to finally end The Authority and their reign of terror, but now Orton is fading into the background again. It doesn’t help that he can’t stay healthy but when he returns, let’s at least get something that’s different, please.
